Ok for money spent

I used this product as a top for a tiki hut in my business and not all of them are the same length as I needed 4 to start and had to cut them so the bottom line didn't look way off. The only real comment/issue is that the photo makes it appear much "fuller/thicker" than it really is. I had to purchase another 4 pieces to double up the coverage on my wall so it looked like the photo. I picked this one over others because it looked fuller - so please don't be mislead.

Expensive and Not Even Close to Being "Raffia"

This worked out for what we needed it to--a table skirt for a party. However, it was quite expensive ($15?!) AND was literally orangey-brown pieces of plastic, rather than anything Raffia or Raffia-looking. As another reviewer said, it looked like a bunch of plastic grocery store bags shredded. The rub was that there weren't too many alternatives out there.

this definitely beats the plastic ones

i first ordered the same thing, but in "artificial" material. not a good idea. that plastic stuff looks really fake plasticky. i returned the plastic stuff and got two of these. very pleased. get this product if your looking for grass skirt stuff.

100% REAL RAFFIA. LOVE IT!!!

After reading the other reviews, I was hesitate to purchase this but decided even if it is "burnt-orange shredded plastic" material I would take the chance for $12.00. I am just using for a 6 year old birthday party. It arrived today and I am pleasantly surprised. It is actually 100% raffia. Its thickness is a bit sparse but it is going to be perfect for the party. So excited and very satisfied!!!!

Artificial for sure

Although, the item will serve a purpose, its not natural color at all. Its more of a pinkish color - so if your trying to match it to other grass raffia, be sure they are all either artificial or real. I won't purchase more, as I was hoping for more like the picture in color, but it wasn't. Still usuable away from my other grass items.

Not sure what you all buy this for, but...

I used it as a grass "hula" skirt for my horse. She just wouldn't fit into a human sized grass skirt. This worked perfectly with a little bit of self adhesive velcro (which stuck to it perfectly). If I ever needed a table skirt, I would purchase it again, but that just wouldn't be as fun as my horse wearing it!

Good for artificial

Pretty good quality, for me, it wasn't quite right, only because the color was a little too dark, and it had a shiny finish. If you don't mind it being artificial, go for it. I ended up buying real raffia for my project.

Good as expected

It had a very plastic feel to it and a weird organe color but it suited it's purpose just fine.
