Versatile, but cheaply made
The base is metal, but the sprinkler part is cheap plastic that will easily break. I like the versatility of potential zones, but not much water actually comes out.

So far I love it!. Almost no noise. Very quiet!
So far I love this sprinkler. I wanted a quiet one as to not disturb me or neighbors at night. Also needed one easy to move around. This has been perfect for both needs! As far as durability, time will tell. It does have plastic moving parts!

Much better than my old impulse sprinkler
I had an old impulse sprinkler that was worn out. I prefer these gear-drive sprinklers due to better control. Most I have seen are all plastic and too light to stay put when operating. This one has a plastic head but the base is metal. It's not extremely heavy, but it does stay in place no matter how much water pressure I put into it. The multiple spray patterns and adjustable angle of coverage make it useful in several locations in my lawn. Very happy with this purchase.

Two Years
Two years and now it has started to not work. Good until now it slowed down to the point of is it moving at all.

The stops move on their own
While they do a reasonably good job in general, they have a serious flaw that must be addressed. The rotating tabs that stop the rotation in both directions move on their own. The first time I saw this, I figured some devious neighbor kid had moved them in the night. However, after two days of fighting the moving stops, I was able to witness it moving while I was setting the stop locations. I witnessed two things happening. First, when the rotating head hits the stop, rather than changing direction, it simply pushes pushes the stop continuously until it hits the other stop. Second, when it leaves a stop, it somehow drags the stop along with it. Very strange. What you eventually wind up with is a very narrow travel path for the sprinkler head that moves gradually, until it finally rests in a location and waters only that spot. Not good when this is the neighbors car. Or a window to your home. Or the street. All of which happened to me. I have used duct tape on the two stop rings to prevent them from moving, and that seems to have corrected the problem, but you certainly should not have to do that. There was no data I could find indicating the flow/pressure needed to run a given head or number of heads a distance. I can tell you that my home has average pressure and flow, and I could not run 4 heads at once. I needed to split the yard, running two heads at a time. By the way, I purchased 4 of these, and 3 of the 4 have the self moving stops

Very satisfied!
I purchased this product to prevent waisting water while watering my narrow side yard. This is the only oscillating sprinkler that I could find with a metal base. This sprinkler has performed perfectly and I'm very satisfied with my purchase. The sprinkler is shipped in two pieces and it takes less than a minute to assemble to head to the base. The arc can be easily adjusted with the adjustment tabs all the way up to a full 360. There a four different spray pattern settings for all of your watering needs. I really like that you can link multiple sprinklers together with the pass through base. It is also nice that you can choose different colors and not be stuck with the basic grey or silver. Tip: Put a brick on the front of the base to lower the stream so the wind won't affect it as much.

It fell apart the third time I used it.
This sprinkler was exactly what I wanted, and I thought I'd be pretty safe with a Dramm. It was easy to set, easy to change, and sprinkled absolutely evenly. However, the third time I picked it up to move it the head fell off the base, and was obviously fractured completely at the point of connection. I am not replacing it with another Dramm.

Light weight base
You cannot use the main large function without the sprinkler moving all over the place as the base is way too light for the pressure it can put out on the higher settings. Would be awesome if the base was more sturdy.
