Nice fan...noise level can be an issue

I have a collection of Ego products. This fan is great for sitting outside in the Georgia heat keeping the bugs away. At lower speeds with the fan nearby its pleasant. If you crank it up towards the upper end of its limits it gets quite loud. Industrial fan level loud. Unlikely to keep it up that high during most of my applications so its a keeper. It appears well made as are all of my Ego tools and accessories.

Great little fan.

I like the fact that I can use the batteries I already have, I like the output of airflow on medium, high and turbo settings, it's not too bulky and heavy, I like the handle and wheels for the portability, my only dislike is the mister, it leaves everything wet and a little slippery in front of the fan (only reason for the 4 stars) I used it the other day working on my mower and helping repair a fence, it did help keep me nice and cool even though it was in the high 90's , I'm looking forward to see how it will hold up to prolonged use.

Amazing fan

I love this fan and got it for outside patio seating. This keeps mosquitoes away with the breeze. Can’t beat the battery life and have had nothing but luck with EGO. Bringing this on glamping trips over the summer.

If portable wind is what you need, this is the ticket

I’m 66 and play singles tennis throughout the summer months…in Louisiana. When conditions are brutally hot, it is imperative to cool down on changeovers after every two games. Failure to do so could lead to physical harm, even death. This fan is great. On its highest setting it generates wind that feels like 40 mph. (I think it’s rated for 5000 cubic feet per minute, which is a lot). While ideal for tennis and other sports in hot climes, it would be equally, if not more, useful for outdoors work, construction, etc. It wasn’t cheap, but I find it well worth the money and certainly cheaper than a trip to the emergency room.

Excellent Wish Bought Sooner

We have had the EGO lawn mower since it was first released. We just purchased this and wish we would have done it sooner. Excellent air movement. The mister--heaven. I love that the batteries pop into our mower, leaf blower, power inverter, fan, ..... (yes, that's what the engineers were going for--well done). We did not expect when we first bought the mower that we would go all in on their product range, but we keep finding that their designs are well thought out, well executed, and integrate seamlessly with the battery packs. I think we are up to 8 different products now, see what they release next.

Great Product, lots of issues

The product is amazing when it’s not broken! The misting reduces temperatures like crazy while I am bbq’ing or working on the garden. Issue 1; Fan 1: Fan came and worked great out the box. But….. the first time I used the misting part it was blowing back water inside the fan. Just like other reviews there is an issue with the back plate where it was cracked and leaked water. I sent it back and ordered another fan. Issue 2; Fan 2: Second fan came and misting back plate didn’t have a fracture but the metal mister itself was leaking. I opened it and as you can see from the picture the gasket is cracked. Fortunately the extra mister was ok but now I don’t have a back up for a fan that is literally 1 day old (arrived today). In the end, the fan is amazing when there isn’t issues. But it looks like ego needs better product inspections & testing before sending out products. The back plate where the hose connects I am sure will fail as the first fan did due to the plastic housing for the screw in is so small and fragile. I hope ego comes up with a replacement part for this that is better.
