Keeps the outlets off limits

Super easy to install. Removal is not impossible but still difficult, although that is probably best to ensure children can’t also remove them.

Does the job!

This is the second time I've bought this product because they seem to work the best to stay in outlets without little ones pulling them out. Other outlet covers are easily removable and I don't trust that they'll keep my house baby-proofed like these will.

They do the job

They do the job, my 11 month old cannot get them out, yet it's not impossible (or timely) for me to get them out when I need the outlet. However I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because: They are not as pictured - the ones I got to not have that tab in the middle tab in the middle for fingers to grip (mine have a flat surface). And 7+ dollars is far too pricey for some little plastic things.

Pros and cons

Pros: Cheap price. Well-made, hard but flexible plastic with grip grooves on each side (which you'll need ...). Fits fairly easily, securely in all the socket receptacles I tried, BUT .... Cons: You won't get these off with your fingers. Testing it (once I placed it in) I quickly decided to use a regular sized pair of pliers. Straight out, but a bit of a pull, and if you do this over and over, I can see a possible real problem in time (the plastic grooves will gradually strip using the pliers, which are necessary). Would they (the plastic) eventually "loosen" after several times, making them removable with your fingers alone? . I'm not sure. For me, not a big hang-up, because I purchased them to use in the winter, to block certain receptacles with outside air flowing in - which it does effectively. At the end of winter, I'll simply remove them (hopefully?!!) and throw away. Was glad I purchased the larger 36-piece bag of them for an extra dollar.

Mommy proof

These little suckers really work. I have no doubt the will protect my baby being you can’t hardly get them out!

Worked great for that purpose but you should know that if ...

I purchased these for weather proofing, to keep cold air draft from coming through the outlet. Worked great for that purpose but you should know that if you are going to use it for that purpose they are difficult to remove, which is great for child proofing outlets, but a bit of a drag if you are using the outlet on and off on a regular basis.

Great outlet covers

This is a great product! These outlet covers have a slightly raised surface that make it a little easier for adult fingers to remove from the wall -- but not kids' fingers. Outlet covers are supposed to be impossible for children to remove, not adults. This outlet cover fits that description really well.
