If you receive Emily Henry ceramics intact, not broken, they will reward you with the best, most beautiful loaves of bread ever. I have several different baking vessels from this company, and I LOVE them all!!! I do have to add, I don't know how durable they will be over time, but I handle them with kid gloves. They are way too expensive to treat them carelessly. I hope they last a very long time.

Bakes a Beautiful loaf of Bread!!

I bought two of these to bake sourdough loaves in. They really improved the softness of the crust, and my bread rose nice & high. The crust gets a light golden brown. Just beautiful!! I’m so happy I decided on these instead of more expensive Dutch Ovens. Way better than baking round loaves too, in my opinion! I really love them!

Great for a crusty loaf!

I’ve been on a sourdough kick and wanted to bake a more rectangular loaf other than the round boules I make with a Dutch oven. This fits the bill. I had a problem with the loaves sticking to the bottom regardless of the amount of flour. Easily solved with a sheet of parchment paper. Easily cleaned in the dishwasher.

works with 3.5 cup flour recipe

I was worried about the dough sticking as some reviewers claimed. I used a 3.5 cup flour recipe and the bread did not stick to the top. The entire underside of the top is not glazed. Without parchment paper, I believe the dough would have stuck to the inside of the baker. I was very pleased with the bread, but do feel the baker is over priced.

Want to love it

I’ve used it for months now, hoping that it will improve. No such luck. Giving up and going back to my metal Non stick pans. Right from the start, I have oiled and dusted with corn meal, to supposedly ease the loaf out, but no, Every single loaf sticks! I hate this thing.

Easy bread baking with beautiful bakeware

Perfectly baked loaf of bread! The beautiful bakeware is much more than something nice to display (‘though that’s a nice feature). Great quality, simple cleaning. Using guidelines from the instructions, the design has produced a perfect loaf every time. Thebread came out of the baker with ease (no sticking), great texture, and nice crust
