Packing issues with table top damage

Package arrived on the date it was promised, but packaging was not ideal. I have previously purchased additional Ashley pieces and they were packaged extremely well so I didn’t hesitate to purchase this piece because of that and knowing I didn’t purchase off of Amazon Warehouse. What I received was a damaged table top with 2 dented sides (one was not as bad as the other side). Surprisingly the rest of the table was okay. I hope you can send a new top for this table so I can have a fully beautiful piece. The box was ripped, re-taped and all of the styrofoam was smashed inside which created a lot of extra work to clean up after opening the box. The color of the table is beautiful! It’s a cream color, closer to a bisque and it’s perfect for my home. It would have be a 5 star review if the packaging had been secure to prevent damage to the table. After removing and cleaning up, the box and packing materials are too destroyed to send the table back.

I love this table. It’s exactly what we were looking for and really brought the room together. Very sturdy. Easy to put together. Highly recommend!

Very Cheap and topcoat Mars far too easily

I bought two of these tables for my family room recently. They look nice enough but after only three weeks, a two inch by one inch place on the table top has lost its top coat. I have been super super careful with these tables because I knew they were cheap; I have used a coaster under all drinks, and literally no one else has you has even touched this table. My husband and I are the only people living here, and I haven’t had the tables long enough for a guest to have caused the problem. Despite this, tonight I sawa white substance on the table. When I attempted to wipe it off - all the while having no idea what it could be! - I noticed that it was quite sticky. Taking a closer look, I realized that the substance was tacky paint!!!! Something had apparently dissolved or melted the paint!! Again, NOTHiNG has been set on this table! I have absolutely no idea what could have done this! I have even used a coaster for my coffee cups!! And if this table surface is so cheap that the heat from a coffee cup filtered through a wooden coaster could melt the paint, then it’s clear that this table is a piece of junk!!! Now a brand new table is ruined!!! I am so mad!! I knew better than to buy an Ashley table! They are not real wood, and I knew this! Unfortunately, this table was the only one of this color and shape that was also the right size. Grrrr!!! Don’t buy it!! Even if you are desperate to find something as I was! I really wish now that I had been more patient. Now I have to somehow figure out how to cover this marred place with decor or buy a replacement. One thing is certain: I sure don’t want another one!!

Table: Great - Packaging - WTF?

When I opened this item I found that the styrofoam was coming apart and there were thousands of small styrofoam balls all over, that stuck to the floor, furniture, clothing, hands, and to the inside of vacuum cleaner canister. Then when i pulled out the table top I saw that the table components were strapped and stapled with heavy staples to the underside. These were very difficult to remove. The table is 5 stars. It's sturdy, looks great in my living room, and aside from the packaging issues, was very easy to put together. The table assembly, once I removed the straps, was less than 30 minutes, the packaging removal and cleanup is 2 hours and counting (no matter how many times I vacuum, I keep finding styrofoam balls).

White Paint shows through chips

I understood these tables to be an antique style but was surprised all 3 of them had paint chips that showed white paint beneath.

But it’s a lovely little table, and needed for Christmas so a friend will mend it as best he can
