Water Filter for frig!

This is product is recommended for my refrigerator and seems to be adequately filtering the water. (The incorrect model was originally send by Amazon. This delivery was returned to Amazon via Kohl's. I don't know if Amazon received the returned filter but is apparently planning to wrongly charge my account.)

Right one

Took me awhile but I finally found the filter that will fit the refrigerator. I have bought these a couple of times already and will continue to buy them. They fit great. Work as they should and even though they seem a little pricey, it's worth it considering, I only have to buy them 1 or 2 times a year for a household of 2. I will be buying another one in 6-8 months when the time comes.

Buying water filters for my refrigerator has become so expensive at the store, so it is easier and more convenient to buy them here and they are perfect for my application.

This filter is very common and the Amazon price was $10.00 less than the internet store I have bought from in the past and both are cheaper than the two big home improvement stores.

Pricey for what it is

The price for these is far above what my old fridge filters were (for a Samsung). It does what it's supposed to do, just wish there were some cheaper and reliable alternatives.

Overpriced for what it is, but does what it needs to do

Since it mostly just filters water for the ice maker, in my household the filter lasts a decent while. If you want filtered water for drinking, I think most budget conscious people would be better served by a Brita pitcher.

Perfect!

I bought a cheaper version made by someone else.... it didn't seal well and caused it to leak water into my basement. This product is perfect fix for my problem. This is the brand to buy.

A Positive Purchase!

A great filter. No issues with purchase, delivery, installation, and use. Had preliminary concerns after reading some of the comments on the Amazon.com website with relation to it being a downgrade from its predecessor model and the bad taste of its water. However, this is not the case as the filter was of good physical quality while water dispensed had no noticeable undesired taste or scent. Using the water for my drip drop coffee the next day had a marked improvement of my brew! Would recommend, especially I had previously tried (and subsequently returned) generic replacement filters - a night and day result. Also note that it is also compatible with Kenmore side-by-sides that uses 9030 (which is also the Whirlpool 4396710).

Excellent tasting water with no after taste.

So, I was solely a pur water filter person. Since being discontinued, I read many reviews on cheaper brands. My issue was more of the taste of the water. Yes, this is a pricey filer, I will admit. However, the taste of the water is phenomenal. Clean, crisp and no after taste. Since I only replace this filter every 6 months, I will stick with this filter.
