Used this to make a step into boat

Item was great. Good finish and rubber step plate was nice. Good welding job too. Combined it with a spare tire carrier to make a step to board the boat from the trailer tongue. Much cheaper that the ready made one.

Sturdy Step for PWC Trailer

I purchased this step to facilitate getting on and off my PWC without stepping on plastic trailer fenders. The step is easy to attach to the trailer, comes with all necessary hardware, and appears to be well made. I am a satisfied customer and can recommend the step as a welcome trailer accessory.

Easily some of the best money I've spent

I've owned boats for years, and I've always contorted myself and struggled to climb in and out when the boat was on the trailer. You either run the risk of damaging the fender by putting your weight on it or stretch and twist to hit the trailer. With my new boat, I decided I was too old for yoga poses, so I took a chance on this. I wish I had bought one years ago. The step mounts easily onto the trailer with just four carriage bolts. I did have to run to the hardware store to buy some shorter bolts because the ones that came with it were way too large for my trailer. But that was the only negative I have, and I'm guessing that's partially my fault because there's probably one for smaller trailers floating around out there that I just didn't look for. I'm a fairly big guy, and the step is solid. It sits at just the right height for an easy step from the ground and into the boat, and it doesn't stick out any further than the fender does. If you've got a boat, you won't regret adding one of these.

Sturdy step, will help this 70+year old man launch & trailer his bass boat.

Not getting younger, now 71. Launching and trailering my 17.5' Bass Tracker is more of a chore as I step from trailer tongue to the bow of the boat and versa, be it alone or with wife. That awkward step (climb) to or from the boat to trailer, over my trolling motor becomming a PIA. This step, mounted per my picture gives me a easy Two Step and in or out now. No, have not used it, but will this week. But just in the yard, a sigh of relief. (For me and her.) This thing is SOLID and suprisingly heavy. I got the gray power coated for quicker delivery time. Can paint black if I need.

Just what I needed.

I installed two of these to step down on to when wenching my boat back onto the trailer. Very comfortable and sure-footed. I have them the same height although in the photo one looks higher than the other. Worth every penny.

Works but came with damaged nut

Package came with one nut that was stripped out, so I had to buy a replacement. Overall nice step.

the galvanized step was perfect for my situation - before I was trying to step on top of the winch which wasn't very safe - being it's galvanized is even better as my trailer is also - we I mounted it I didn't have use the the backer plate
