I like it.
4/5 stars. I love it on a traditional helmet. I started an academy where we are expected to wear turtle shell helmets and this light doesn’t work great on them. It’s too bulky for the brim and there isn’t enough room to remove the light. Battery life is good. The clamp for the light fits a little loose but the flashlight stays in place even with excessive movement. All-in-all, would recommend

Come messed up but Foxfury replaced it!
Great gift for my firefighter fiancé. Good fit on his helmet. I ordered a used one and it came broken. We contacted Foxfury and they sent us a brand new one. It was unfortunate but we had a great experience!

Sturdy watertight and very very very very very bright light
Used it at a couple of fires now and it is very bright I mean very very bright it's nice it mounts great to my Karnes 880 helmet and keeps my profile low and lasts for 3 to 4 hours as advertised my only problem with it is my friend got one from a dealer here in town and even though both our packages are identical his light seems a little brighter I thought it may have been a bulb difference (like in reference to color temperature) his is slightly bluer than mine which makes me question whether or not I really have a Cree LED and ended up with a knock-off??? If you're buying this for fire service you'll definitely want to look at the rechargeable batteries with the chargers here on Amazon you can pick a decent set up for 20 to 30 bucks and it's really nice to swap them out every tour or after each big fire or event. If you want to buy the non rechargeables they're $30 for a set at the grocery store here so that's why went with the rechargeables

Great hands free helmet light for fire/rescue
I haven't had this light very long and haven't had the opportunity to use it much. What I can say is that it is well made and bright. I'll update the review after some good hard use. I'm using it as a helmet light for firefighting. Several other firefighters at my department are using the same light and I thought I would give it a try. I also like that it can be taken out of the mounting bracket very easily to use as a hand held vs. helmet light, making it versatile in that aspect.

Very nice
I really like this light. It’s long overdue that a helmet mount light with a quick disconnect for handheld use came along. It’s a bit on the expensive side but it is very useful and very bright and I like the light in the rear too. I saw some reviews saying it was a bit big and a bit heavy, which they’re not wrong, but I don’t think it’s obnoxious. It would probably take away from the classic look of a leather but it fits right in with the tactical Tupperware. I only took off a star for two basic reasons: the first being how it came in the box. The light and bracket were not even in the product box, just banging around in the Amazon box. And the second being that it didn’t come with batteries. I mean for over $100 it should come with a set of batteries, even the $25 Amazon one I replaced came with batteries. And if anyone is wondering, the mount is two separate parts, the light mount and the helmet mount, with screws that hold them together, so you can have the light in any orientation. Left, right, top or bottom either side doesn’t matter you just need a 2 Allen key to change it Edit: first time I used my helmet since adding this the light fell out and I lost it. Luckily it was on the very last day I was eligible to return it so I got a replacement and once again it arrived with all the parts out of the packaging just banging around. What’s the matter with the people who pack these things? At least they were good about sending a replacement. Hopefully this one stays other wise it’s going back

Everything else about the light is fantastic, this issue being the sole exception
I've only used this item for several weeks and it has already started to develop problems. The light flickers and dims with the slightest of jarring, usually when I remove/insert it into the holster, which is quite frequently. Everything else about the light is fantastic, this issue being the sole exception. I would like for FoxFury to reach out and replace this item, if possible, and I will update my review. Update: It appears some dirt/grease/whatever was on the positive contact (the one closest to the lamp inside the flashlight). I cleaned it off with a technician's screwdriver and it appears to have alleviated the problem. Updated to 5 stars.
