Great Starter Set for Beginners

I'm new to Pickleball and I'm not good enough to warrant an expensive paddle. This set is perfect for the beginner. The paddles are decent. I tried my friend's more expensive paddle for comparison and while these aren't as nice as the composite paddle, they are perfect for the beginner or the person like me who just plays Pickleball recreationally and not often. The price for the set is less expensive than a single composite paddle which is perfect for those who want to bring introduce the world of Pickleball to a friend. The paddles have rubber handles which are comfortable and easy to grip. Even when sweaty, I'm still able to keep these in my hand without them slipping out. I have a package of outdoor balls that are better than the balls included so I would recommend buying a pack of balls to add to this set. The balls in the set are fine for learning to play but it's nice to have extras and even a beginner will quickly notice the difference. I love how this set comes packaged which I included in my photos. The packaging makes it perfect for gift giving and for introducing new players. Overall, I think this is a decent set and perfect for a beginner.

way too heavy

i bought this item because one of the main qualities was "lightweight". it is not in fact light weight it is extremely heavy. i compared it to the one my instructor was using and the difference was night and day!! its worth it to buy one thats more pricey!

These paddles are entry level paddles into the game of pickleball, pretty much the same as using wooden paddles. You won’t be competitive while using this paddle but it is okay enough to help you begin to understand the game (and why you need a different paddle)

Not for serious pickleball players - thin paddle

I bought these before playing with a group of regular players. After a while I found out these are too thin if you want to be competitive, or ease of play. Buy a heavier weight, thicker paddle.

The paddles scratch easily.

This Pickleball paddle and ball set is very fun to play with, and the whole family loved it! The only thing I can say about this is that the paddles seem to scratch very easy, and the balls seem like ones that you could buy at a dollar shop for a couple of dollars. Other than that, however, the paddles themselves are very sturdy and we bought two sets for our family!
