It's beer pong, sort of

Stadium Pong? What is Stadium Pong, you ask? It's basically Beer Pong, but with a tiered, stadium-like setup that has your cups on elevated risers. Aside from some minor rule tweaks (that people will ignore in lieu of house rules anyway), that's really about it. The risers/stadium portion of this set is actually very cool. Easy to assemble, fairly sturdy, and pretty cool looking. The PVC pipe base works perfect on flat surfaces and sits well on sandy ground, too. No worries about playing on the beach. On solid turf or grass, however, it will be a little unsteady. It's sturdy, too, which is good since you may be hauling this around to parties and BBQs and the like. This can take some use. What is NOT cool is that it doesn't come with cups, so you don't have everything you need right our of the box. Not a deal-breaker by any means, but if you don't usually use plastic cups at your social gatherings, that means you'll have to get some in order to play. (We always use glassware at my house, haven't used plastic cups in eons.) Oh well. Otherwise, the set itself is well made and it comes with a few ping pong balls to start. Fun twist on beer pong and a nice addition to anyone's backyard party game collection.

Happy with this purchase, would be great with a few improvements

This seems to be a great purchase so far. Set up- as you can see from the photos it’s a little unorganized to put this together. It would be nice if this was already put together but it is what it is. Took me by myself about 20 minutes to set up so not too bad. There are 7 different pieces to put together and they all had stickers on them which was the worst part about set up. Quality-great buy for the price. Hoping this will last a while but it does seem a little weak and not very strong. Cons-not too sure how long this will last. The transition from flat to stadium is horrible, really doesn’t work well and also almost breaks when you try to switch it. That’s why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5. One thing to note-doesn’t come with cups, so if your buying this and hoping to use it right away, unless you have cups on hand you’ll be out of luck.

Perfect gift for a college student

Pros: This makes ordinary beer pong feel a lot more sporty. Not just solo cups filled with beer that can get knocked over, but a stadium of beer filled cups. The stadium is pretty sturdy and a good size for a table game. Cons: There are a lot of pieces to put together. It's not hard to do, but it takes like 15 minutes or so. Make sure you really squeeze all the PVC pipes hard together or the base won't lay flat. The stadium is hard to release from the elevated position to the flat position and requires some pressure. Also, how do you store this thing? It's awkward and the 2 stadiums do not stack together. With all those pieces, I don't really want to disassemble it to put back in the box and have to reassemble it for a party. I'm not sure it's worth $30 when you can just play beer pong the old fashioned way, but it's still a cool party game.

New Way To Play Pong

Everyone loves Beer Pong! Now you can play a new kind of Beer or "Beverage" pong. As a novelty product, this is a good one. It takes around 15 minutes to set it up, even with good instructions and lots of pieces. Once the game itself is set up, you're ready for the fun. You can move it up and down or keep it flat. So many options for competitive play or just fun. Cons- It doesn't store well as it is hard to get back down flat sometimes. It's made of plastic and I'm not sure how long this game will last. It doesn't come with the cups--please remember that. The price is good for this product. It will be a hit if you take it to a party or to just play with friends. It just might not last long.

Fun for get-togethers

This stadium pong set is super easy to assemble, so it's ready to go in just a few minutes - as long as you already have the cups. Those don't come with it. The base sits well on level pavement such as a driveway or patio, and it also works well in sand. We tried it on the lawn, but it didn't work out as well. Even small discrepancies in the yard kept it from sitting sturdy. The setup itself is durable and holds up well. This is a fun game, and would even make a good gift for those who like to entertain.
