Fit porter cable nailer

Love it but hate that it flops around. A real pain to hang single handed. Will find a way to modify so it doesnt flop around so much

metal too soft

actually, pretty good design overall but metal too soft and rotates too readilly, so you wasting a lot of effort in use. the mount uses its own air inlet couple, so you need to unscrew yours since theirs is permanently attatched to hook. Pretty confident will break couple after 5 drops because it's hard to get hung since it is always spinning. The swivel couple looks good, but when the the hook swivels to the gun handle so does your hose, then your up on a ladder trying to shake both back in position. Bad on 3 counts, but after bending, it'll fall even more. A rigid plastic hand grip mount w some resistance to swivel would be better, but no one making. the air hose mount, being at end is no good because most framing nailers are long, requiring wrist contortions to hang it on rafter or ladder rung....should be placed closer to where hands are.

Be careful screwing it in!

The threads are pretty long, so do not try to screw it all the way in or it will crack the end cap of your nailer. I had to remove the red thread sealant for it to fit my Metabo 16 gauge, it was just a little too tight with the sealant. I also had to cut out a small portion of the plastic for it to fit into the Metabo case ( see pics), but not much more than a silver dollar size. I bought the 1" and wish I would of got the 1 3/4". I can still use the 1 inch to hook onto my tool belt or jeans pocket, but thats about it. Its not deep enough to hook onto a ladder, 2x4,and etc. Quality seems good. Bought two, one for my 16gauge and the other for my 18 gauge. I might get the 1 3/4 for my framing nailer and 15 gauge.

Very useful!

I really needed this to hang my nail gun onto my tool belt. It was a good value and was what I was looking for. I'm not sure if it was because I had a cheap nail gun but the thread pitch appeared slightly off as it was a little rough threading it on. It wouldn't thread completely so it was sitting about half way out which in my opinion is not ideal as it's your attachment point for the weight of your gun. If it was fully threaded it would not add as much leverage to the threads. Overall it does its job and has been great at getting up my hands on a 20ft ladder.

Good product but needed modification

Product seems good but they went crazy on the thread sealer... For a second I thought they'd sent me an unthreaded fitting but I just scrubbed most of it away and it worked fine. Would give more stars if the product came without the need to modify it.

Gagne un temps fou a ne pas deposer l’outil a un endroit convenable et le recuperer quand vient le temps de l’utiliser ! Pas Compliqué tu l’a autour de ta taille et tres facile à accrocher et tres facile s accroché a des trust ou autre !

Great product

I love these things as belt hooks for my air tools. I'm actually removing the factory rafter hooks from my tools and putting these on because they stay on my belt better than the large plastic rafter hooks.

Sturdy product

Really sturdy rafter hook. Fits well on my bostitch coil framer. Bought the hook with no fitting. It has a recessed hole so you can slip it between the fitting and the gun while keeping a proper seal at the threads. Way better than the plastic factory ones. And in my opinion, holds/sits better than the pneu hooks.
