Great Brush for Maine Coon Cats!

I went through a lot of different grooming options from the gloves to combs and everything in between. Nothing really seemed to work or was something the cats would not tolerate. They actually like being groomed with this and it does what it says it does. Just be careful on the underside, if you catch any little matted fur patches, they will not like it. Need to remove those with another tool/heavy duty pet clippers.

Great for dogs with thick hair!

My very hairy Texas cattle dog begs for me to use this on her. It obviously feels good, she proves that! It is excellent at taking off the soft under coat while she is shedding for this warmer weather. It is a work-horse, well made and sturdy. The tips are smoothly rounded so they don't 'cut/scrape' the skin like many other dog brushes and combs. This is a best buy yet!

Love this rake!

I used the large Furminator de-shedding tool for my long haired Goldendoodle, as he did not inherit the non-shedding genes. I ordered and received this rake afterward and it just may replace needing to use the de-shedding tool again. It goes through his hair easily, removes loose hair that causes matting, and he actually enjoys being brushed with it. I have a Chris Christiansen brush, but it does not go through his hair well, even line brushing, AND he hates me using it on him. I highly recommend this rake!

Highly recommend for long haired and dual coat dogs. Works great on my German shepherd and border Collie, helps with mats and getting the winter coats off without a lot of effort.

Only downside is it doesn’t hold more hair! i love using this for my dogs undercoats. just takes a few brushes a month to get it done

Finally a dog brush that Does the job!

I've bought two other dog combs for my dog bone of which work. This comb does great I have a short haired dog that sheds a prickly coat. Trust me this comb gets it done!

Works really well for double coated dogs.

I use this rake on my Pekingese to prevent deep knots from forming and it works surprisingly well. It does not tug on her fur or cause her discomfort. Really helps remove any soon-to-be micro-knots and loose fur from her undercoat. Definitely recommend, wish I had bought it sooner. A well priced tool all dog owners should have.

BEST grooming tool - EVER! Period.

Works better than I could ever imagine. It's like I have a new, beautiful, happy little Havanese. She looks fabulous & knows it. GREAT product!!!

This is truly a remarkable comb.

I was at my wits end with dog hair. We have a very hairy Swiss Shepherd and a shedding German Shepherd. I have bought several products over the years and even though the reviews for the comb were positive, I was skeptical. When it arrived first, I was pleased with the amount of hair it took off both dogs. I was amazed at how it went through the Swiss Shepherds coat. For the first time in a long time she is knot free. And loves being groomed with this comb. Another miracle! The big test for me was how much hair was on my floors, one of my first jobs every morning is to go round with my flat mop gathering hair, usually a football sized amount. Since using the comb the hair on my floor in the morning is minimal, I am so pleased! I will be recommending this to my family and friends and will buy a spare, couldn't be without it.

I really like it!

Very convenient and comfortable. Gets those loose hairs out well. But my cat doesn't like it. He hisses at it if I brush anything other than his face and the top if his head. It does get staticky for me so I contacted the seller and they suggested spraying it with water which definitely would work (I haven't tried it yet, but if it works with human hair brushes then it will work for pet brushes). I'm sure that you can use pet sprays for it as well to get rid of the static, but also add a scent

Best Groomer Wvwr

I have a German Shepherd with a normal coat. I used to have the original Furminator which certainly got a lot of hair out but I felt it pulled the hair too much. Anyway I saw this one and it’s excellent. It still takes out plenty of hair but to me it’s only taking out the loose hair and not some that wasn’t ready to shed. There is a very good reason that German Shepherds are called German Shedders.

Works a treat

I’ve got four Maine Coons and one of them matts terribly. Quick 5mins with this and he’s matt free with minimal whinging from him. The pile in the image is from spending just 10mins combing all four of them. I’d definitely recommend this comb/rake.

Bueno pero no sustituye al cepillo

Tengo un Husky y para los que también están familiarizados con este tipo de perros, sabrán que contar con el cepillo adecuado para cepillar puede ahorrar muchas horas para su cepillado y limpieza del pelo suelto en la casa. Tengo un cepillo Furminator para este tipo de perros y estamos encantados con la calidad (tiene aproximadamente 8 años y parece nuevo) y el funcionamiento del producto, por lo que decidí darle una oportunidad a este rastrillo. En general funciona bastante bien para lo que se anuncia aunque si noté que si batalla con el pelo más fino, para ello recomiendo el cepillo. Este rastrillo me ayudo a quitar de manera muy rápida el pelo muerto de las zonas más complicadas de limpiar como la cola, las patas traseras y la barriga de mi perro. Recomiendo el producto como un complemento, más no como un sustituto del cepillo
