Nice wall art

When I was a little boy in Kilgore Texas (circa 1963) I attended Leverett's Chapel Elementary School. One day a man named "Colonel Lawson" came and put on a demonstration of among other things, a variety of boomerangs. I have been fascinated by them since then, and purchased this one as wall decor in the Colonel's honor. It doesn't look any too sturdy, but does make for nice wall art and conversation starter.

Me and my friend threw this at school thinking it would be fun, our first 2 throws hit the ground and snapped it

Well crafted Boomerang

The Boomerang was a nicely made wood product, but it was larger than I expected and came in a very large box. UPS would not leave it at the door as they ussally do, so it took a lot of time and effort to actually receive it. This of course made it late for a Christmas present, and ultimately not worth the trouble.

Very good buy

Great boomerang, excellent balance, easy to throw, The rear of both wings needs to be sanded down like the rear of both wing on an airplane, other than that, very good product.

Be sure to look up some videos on technique for throwing. And be careful!

Nice Boomerang

The boomerang is well made and makes for a great wall hanger or perhaps if you practice enough one could actually hunt with it. But this model isn't designed to return unless you did what I did which was to put an edge on the blades in the appropriate places. My suggestion is to purchase an inexpensive returning boomerang to see where to put the edge. The size is excellent for long throws and when modified, as I suggested, will return if you practice enough.
