Very Good Toaster Oven
This review is for Galanz GRH1209RDRM151 Large 6-Slice Retro Toaster Oven. Purchased this toaster oven almost 1.5 years ago - so definitely gave it a good usage before writing this review. We are primarily using it as a Toaster. But on occasion have used it as a Convection Oven. Overall it has been very reliable and easy to use. Knobs are NOT metal, they are plastic covered with Chrome paint. But the fact they are large and very easy to turn (not slippery, because they are grippy on the sides) makes it very easy to use. The chrome paint on the ones that are used more often does starting to chip a bit, but only a minuscule amount (like the size of pin head). This toaster oven is very quiet - what I mean is that it is made of good metal (not thin, cheap metal) and it does not expand or contract as temperature changes and therefore does not make any popping noises like a lot of other toaster ovens would make (as metal expands and contracts). The crumb tray is easy to remove when the door is open. And of course the Cherry-Red color add a Pop to the kitchen. The only minor issue it the temperature does not seem to be extremely precise - so you have to play around with it until you get the feel for when it is too much or too little.

Works great
My oven died, but just the oven heating element (broiler and stovetop are fine). I have an expensive, fancy toaster that absolutely sucks, so I had been looking for a toaster oven already and decided to size up a little since it was doing the job of two appliances for the time being. This would have been a little too much for the kitchen in the house I grew up in. I have a big kitchen now with tons of counter space so it's fine, but if you don't this might not be for you. The toast function is a little silly to figure out but it works great for baking so far. I've made cupcakes, 2 casseroles, toast of course, a cake, and baked some bread sticks. All came out good, it does cook really evenly but it does tend to cook the outside before the inside is completely done so I have to cover a lot with foil (no big). I haven't had a chance to play with too many other settings yet but I am very pleased so far. It's beautiful and easy to clean. It does get very hot on the outside when cooking, but it also cools down very quickly. I like that it has two racks that I can adjust as needed, and that the crumb tray can be removed completely for cleaning. The light inside stays on the whole time which is a little odd but makes it easy to see what's inside. The door is completely glass so you can watch it easily. It also came very well packaged, nothing was broken or even dented. I wish the timer wasn't just a big dial and the toast settings were a little clearer, but overall I love it.

Really good mini-oven
Terrific little toaster oven - gets hot quickly and is very versatile. I use it exclusively in my home office, where I use it make lunch a few days a week (either cook frozen food, or reheat leftovers). The temperature has been very consistent as well. It matches perfectly with my Galanz red retro refrigerator in my office as well. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Exactly what my mom was looking for. She loves the way the toast turns out; toasted on both sides. It looks great in her kitchen. She uses this mini-oven instead of her big oven. It cooks everything.

Beautiful and Efficient
This oven does it all, cooks, bakes and it beautiful. I love it you can watch your food baking through the glass door. It’s the perfect size for a small to medium counter top.

Good product, door doesn't have a soft stop.
It's still new for me and I've only toasted so far. I love it except the the door doesn't have a soft stop. It will bang on the counter if not opened carefully. I'm looking for something to wrap around the handle.

The toast feature doesn’t function as toaster should ie ion both sides. Very disappointing.
It’s not easy to use at all. It takes more than 5 min to toast two slices of baguette. And only one side gets slightly brown. If I add another minute, it’s completely burned. It doesn’t make sense to have to watch for my toasts to get done. Rehearing pastry is fine.
