Solid choice

This Gamma PS 17 is a great choice for price vs performance. I use it in hybrid and full bed set ups and like its overall playability. It’s a softer string and cushions a bit when paired with poly. I like the mains and crosses at the same tension.

Please correct the picture of Gamma String Reel. This is a NO-Wear-Guard version.

Picture of the product show that it is a wear-guard version of 660 length. Received none-wear-guard version of 720 length. I am ok with the product but such mismatch should not meet the standard of Amazon

I did a string repair with it. seems fine.

Lasted only 2 hours of actual play time..Won't really buy it again.

If you are a hard hitter this string won't last long. I used this one as mains with gosen poly on crosses. These strings broke after 2 hours of play. Other strings have lasted me atleast a couple of months.

Good spin, but lacks durability and power

I hit with speed and lots of spin and these strings do a fine job, but if you have a slow swing speed and hope to generate power, the thin gauge are not for you. Does not absorb the weight of the ball all that much. I can feel the strings moving around quite a bit. It's only a matter of time before my strings break. The durability of these strings is rated at 5/10. Next time, will try a thicker gauge like 15 or 16 with balanced durability and power.

Broke after 3 weeks play

I am not a hard hitting player, plays about 1hr a day and the string broke. Would expect longer life than that.
