Smells divine

This is what I was looking for in a convenient and cost effective way. It smells like citrus (reminds me of a mouse hotel in Florida) and lathers up great! Whole family can use it too bc it’s not a feminine or masculine specific scent. Love that this will likely last at least an entire year!

It has a pleasant smell which I noticed even before opening the box - some had leaked out due to poor packing. Fortunately it was only several ounces! The foil seal had been punctured, too, perhaps by someone who had received this before me and who had returned it. The cap was loose, too. It was poorly packed, with just some air-pacs thrown in the box with it, not even around it, so it was completely free to move around. It lathers up fairly well (but not nearly as well as more expensive body washes) and has a pleasant scent. I will keep it and use it even though several ounces are missing. If I order it again but get a jug that has already been opened like this one, I will send it back!

I tried it in my search for a replacement for my favorite body wash

I ordered this for the first time several weeks ago and have it on subscription. I tried it in my search for a replacement for my favorite body wash, St. Ives Invigorating Citrus, which has been discontinued. The few remaining bottles of that can be found on Amazon for prices like $119.00 for two bottles, so I guess other people think it's the epitome of body washes also. Unfortunately, that's not in my budget, so I will continue with the Ginger Lily at about 13.2 cents per ounce on subscription. It smells nice and performs adequately. I find it to be a bit thin, and have to use a bit more than thicker body washes. I put it in an old St. Ives bottle for the shower, and in a pump bottle for hand washing at the sink. I will probably try it for foaming hand soap sometime when I don't have time to make my own, at a ratio of 1 part soap to 3 parts water. I may add some orange essential oil to it to pump up the citrus smell and add some moisturizing, although I don't find it to be particularly drying to my skin. In general, it is a very nice body wash for the price.

Don't Let the Price Fool You - This Stuff is Awesome!

I decided to take a chance on buying a bulk-size of shower soap because we go through so much of it at our house. Because the name implied a citrus aroma, I picked this one and I'm so glad I did because this stuff is awesome! When you take the cap off the bottle you are immediately hit with a sweet bouquet of citrus and sweet smelling flowers. The soap itself is a pleasing pink pearl color and goes on really creamy. It is well worth the $20 price tag! I gave it 4 stars because it is slightly drying to the skin. I quickly remedied this by mixing it with a little coconut oil when putting it into the smaller shower pump bottle. That little addition does not change the smell, nor the creaminess, yet it solves the problem of drying out the skin. I'm going to see if Ginger Lily Farms makes any other products and try those too. I should mention that although the aroma envelopes you in the shower, the aroma doesn't stay with you all day. That's fine. If you wear perfume, you don't really want something clashing with it. Buy this and enjoy a luxurious shower experience for pennies a day!
