A very poor choice if you enjoy popcorn.

It only produces a very small amount of popped corn. Barely enough for one person to have a small snack. And to add to that dilemma it doesn't pop a lot of the kernels placed in the container. Very disappointed.

Not as advertised

Let’s just say I work at a bar and we have a bigger popcorn maker and the way the details lead on is that this would do everything a big one does but just not make as much popcorn, wrong!!!! The light does NOT keep the popcorn let alone anything else in that matter warm. It is small and cute but it not keeping it warm did it in for me. Just an fyi for future buyers it doesn’t even make as much popcorn as the regular sized popcorn microwave bags, maybe more the size of the mini microwave bags. So if you are getting it for one person that would work but if that one person actually loves popcorn your going to have to make 2 batches! Definitely don’t even thing about this maker for a family, because let’s face it Moms you will be standing there making popcorn forever, batch after batch and then get mad everyone wants to start eating it and you have to make more to be able to have a movie night with the family and you will be making popcorn the whole time lol

Malfunctioned and broke the first time used

I'm completely disappointed. I just used it for the first time, followed all instructions, and used their product (pre-measured corn/oil/seasoning). It made several suspect groaning/creaking sounds as it popped, and the popped corn started coming out at first, but then jammed in the cooker and wouldn't come out at all, but continued to pop and jam. I turned it off, unplugged it, and used a utensil to unjam the popped corn so it wouldn't burn in the cooker. It took awhile for the smoke to clear. So, I'm thinking maybe it just needed a test round. I prepped it for another try and put in the ingredients. This time, about 20 seconds in, it made a loud screeching noise that let me know that the motor was stuck. I immediately turned it off, unplugged it, and it is currently cooling off before I throw the whole thing in the garbage can.

Disappointed

I bought this to use at my grandsons 1st Birthday Carnival in this past Sunday I never opened the box when I received a week ago I wanted to wait until the day of when I set up his Carnival fresh out of the box!! Well needless to say I didn’t get the opportunity to use it there was a nice CRACK on the side of the popcorn machine the disappointment I felt wasn’t a good thing people were expecting a Carnival feel and who has a Carnival without POPCORN!! Sad to say it will be returned I can’t give any stars I’m terribly disappointed & mad at the same time because I could provide that experience to all of my friends & family

Don’t likeit

Door doesn’t close let’s un poped corn to fall out an only half will get pop. Lid keeps kicking un poped corn. The poped corn is tough to chew. I don’t care for this unit at all

Not As Expected

Purchased this popcorn popper thinking that it would make light fluffy popcorn, but it was a big disappointment. The popcorn was chewy and not light and fluffy like I expected. Just an all-around big disappointment.

Piece of Junk

Got this popcorn maker in April because I had left my other one at my previous residence when I moved. This was much smaller but thought since I was single that I wouldn't need a very big one. I used this about once every 2-3 weeks. Went to make some yesterday and all of a sudden pieces of plastic started falling down. Looked up and the entire inside of the ceiling is broken and falling apart. Extremely cheap plastic and I STRONGLY recommend you spend a couple dollars more and get one that is metal.

Stirrer didn't work on arrival

Got everything unpacked and setup. First, light switch... and the was light! Second, heat/stirring... ONLY grinding noise. By the sound, it seemed that plastic gears were rubbing. I thought that may be the kettle needed to be plugged as a safety thing so the drive gear starts turning but same result. Just grinding noise. The kettle did warm up though... Don't buy used cause the one I'm returning was repackaged perfectly and they'll just try to resell.
