It's good. Head position matters a lot. Good for short hair/bald people.
I feel super weird talking about my sweat this much. Like... for real. I keep my hair super short. Like, under 1/2 inch all the time. I've been using simple wicking skull caps for a while. And after a point they just got too saturated and would just dump sweat during long rides or really really hot days. This is much better. It doesn't work as well as I sorta expected, but it does work better than just a regular wicking cap. Your head position matters a lot with this and how it functions. On long slogs through the trails I get into long spells where I'm just spinning and my head is more downard. When the cap is saturated you can really feel the movement of the sweat build up under it if you're moving your head position from up to down often. I mean REALLY feel it. But that's not a bad thing. It's weird the first few times but you get used to it. When it does that I keep my head up or tilt it to one side or the other to encourage the sweat to roll off one side or the other. When the cap is that saturated I normally take my helmet off and "dab" it with my undershirt or jersey. It pulls the sweat off the cap into clothing that doesn't get sweat saturated while I ride, and it'll dry fast. This increases the "life" per ride a significant amount. I wear it above my ears, so the mesh up top is a little loose, but it does a good job of pulling sweat out of the band and up to evaporate. It does leave a mark in my head like others have mentioned. But like... I really could care less about that. A regular wicking cap will leave a small line, and yeah this is more noticeable, but it honestly has helped with keeping sweat out of my brow and eyes and you're gonna look like a mess anyways after a ride that would necessitate the use of this over a regular skull cap. If you sweat a lot or like to ride on real hot days, this is for sure better than a regular wicking cap. It takes some getting used to, and there are some quirks, but I'd for sure take this over a regular cap on long or hot rides.

Perfect, as I thought it would be.
Awesome ! so far so good. Makes me look cool beneath my roller-blade helmet too. And it really does hold all the sweeat and was outside for an hour, and never felt hot under the summer sun.

WOW! Relief for a hot head!
As someone who reads all of the reviews for a product before I purchase it, I want my reviews to be as authoritative as possible for future buyers. Therefore, I wait until I have used a product several times before posting a review of it. I have now used this product for over 500 miles of bike rides in the past 45 days of summer in Central Florida. To be succinct.....this product works splendidly! I am a person who sweats profusely, especially my head. I once worked up a sweat replacing a lightbulb in a walk-in freezer. When riding my bike, I used to take along two water bottles. I used one for drinking and one for rinsing the sweat from my eyes. Then I saw another rider at a rest break wearing one of these and quickly looked it up on Amazon as soon as I got to a computer. Reading all of the reviews, I purchased this style and also purchased the one that ties in the back. The reviews mentioned that this style made someone's head hurt and that it left a mark across their forehead. The first time I wore it, I had a little discomfort and it did leave an indentation mark in my forehead that lasted for about 30 minutes. About the same time as a "bedhead" wrinkle from a pillowcase lasts on me. I then did the "unthinkable" (at least for me) and read the directions. Placing the sweat deflector where it was supposed to go, relieved any discomfort I previously felt and the mark lasted only about 15 minutes. Plenty of time for it to disappear before I got to my favorite post ride watering hole. Most remarkable aspect of my experience with this product is that it performs magnificently! NO SWEAT in my eyes PERIOD! No dangling drop of sweat on the end of my nose. PLUS when I take a break and remove the cap for a few minutes and then put it back on, it is like sticking my head in a bucket of ice! Bicycle riding in Central Florida in August and September, this extra benefit is a welcome relief. I also use it to work in the yard and any other jobs or activities, such as golf, where I have been plagued by sweat running into my eyes and also ruining caps and hats. I now know what to get as gifts for my hot-headed friends. P.S. I also have a rather large head and the one size on this fits perfectly for me; after I read the directions on its correct placement. You do NOT need to pull it down flush with the top of your head. Indeed, it actually works better for air flow if you have some "slack" in the top of the cap instead of pulling it down to your ears.

You can tuck the material down in behind the band
The top part is very breathable and wicks away sweat. The inside silicone band does great keeping sweat from getting into eyes. My only draw back with this cap is the wide band width. It seems to get kinda distorted and wavy looking "wrinkled if you will" after drying. Even does after washing it in washer. The cap is kinda big and will cover your ears great when you pull it all the way down. I dont like to wear these caps over my ears. So what I do is get the caps band where I want it which is above my ears and the inside sweat band about an inch above my brows. Like this the top breathable part of the cap is very loose on top of head. So what I do is take my fingers and tuck the loose breathable material down and in behind the wide gripping sweat band part untill the top part of the cap is tight against the top crown of my head. This way I have a above the ears look which I like. Bicycle helmet fits great over this cap and you dont even notice it. Would recommend this cap

Best sweat cap ever.
I sweat alot. I mean.... Alot when I'm working. I'm in industrial construction and the sweat affects my work performance. I'm constantly uncomfortable, and soaked. Since I've been using the Halo skull cap, my glasses don't fog at all, and I stay dry. If you need relief from heavy sweating this product is for you.

Actually works
I sweat a lot on my runs, often running in 30 degree weather and this has worked great. No sweat dripping in my eyes anymore. Love it. The only issue I have is the sun blinds me and I have to wear a hat over this, next time I will buy this with a brim on it.
