Seems unlike steel, more like nickel. Absolutely no ferromagnetism with very strong magnet. Suspect it's not steel at all. If I installed this product, I'm sure it would have remained rust free for a long time, and that it's performance as a rust free product would have likely been sustained, which was after all, my purpose for buying it. HOWEVER, of the two purchased, only one had screws included, the other, none. The screws were a tiny bit undersized it seemed, and none of the parts, hinges nor pins nor screws, responded to a magnet. The hinge pin was loose-fitting. For 40% the price, it would have been acceptable, but they are to my ability to detect, not stainless steel as claimed.

Worth the price to avoid rust, Easy install and comes with screws

As expected. Item looks good and works well. Since it's stainless steel should last a long time and be rust free. Good for exterior doors or areas where there is water. Comes with screws in a slim package.
