Used these swabs to clean my barrel. They fit the caliber perfectly. Excellent!!

A great mop

Cleans as it should. This works well in cleaning all the lead fouling in the gun barrel of my 9mm, .38 special & 357 Magnums.

Good fit; Sheds

Feels just right going through, not too tight but tight enough to mop up excess oil out of the grooves. Sheds like a sheepdog though! You’ll want to use some compressed air to blow out all the chunks and fibers of cotton afterwards. At this rate, by the time it loses all its loose bits I’m not sure it’ll be a tight fit anymore.

Fair at best

Disappointed, used on 38 revolver and left lint in barrel. Needed bore snake to clean it out. This is really no better than a patch or two through the barrel.

Great for my 9mm

I have used these before and needed a new one. These are a must have for any gun enthusiast. It is not clear in the item description but this is the same size you will want for a 9mm. I am a big fan of Hoppes cleaning supplies and use them exclusivly. My experiance with this item is it will usually last 15-20 cleanings before needing replaced. I know ot may not seem like much but once you ise one of these you will see that not only is it so much easier to use but it will save you time and patches.

Works great on my M&P Shield 9mm.. After I clean my barrel with a brush and patches I run this through a few times and it picks up anything I missed. Ive used it 3 different times so far and its holding up great.
