These are not flexible enough to double over and stuff in a 18" box. If attempted, they will break.

1st I will explain the pictures. I ordered 4 of these poles. The 1st picture is of the box with 3 poles and a lot of stuffing the prevent breakage. The 2nd picture is of the 4th (I'm guessing the 1st actually) pole that got stuffed in a box that wouldn't fit the product. I think the product is fine but, one of them came in a separate box and was broken. I haven't used any of them yet and probably won't this year. If I have to take the time and effort to send the broken one back for a refund, I'm sending all 4. I would prefer a refund on the 1 and I will throw it in the trash and keep the other 3. It's just not worth the time and hassle.
