very poorly packaged

Poorly packaged product, damaged box and broken rail due to transport that damaged the packaging. I was disappointed with the lack of care in shipping. The product is of extreme quality and complete. Only the packaging and one rail was damaged so I didn't return it.

Made In Japan not China

Bought this as a Christmas present for my wife who inherited her father 1960s N scale trains, We dont have a permanent train spot so my wife always got frustrated with putting together the old school track with pins that should really be tacked down. That always pull a part. So I decided to get this and she is so much happier with this track, she has set it on our thick carpet and used it with no issues, even on a guest room bed with no issues. She loves this set and loves the rerailer, and train setting tool all of it helps her enjoy the trains much better now. Plus this set is Made in Japan much better than the chinese made bachman Imo Supporting USA made products or our Allies made product is most important to me because quality is usually better and we are not giving our enemies our money to use against us.

Kato M2 set is a great product.

Overall a great product. The track power leads should be longer to make the setup easier. The track and the layout is fantastic for a basic starter set and goes together easily. Trains run really well with no issues.

Incredible value for the money

This set came with everything we needed to get started with a full n-scale setup, less of course the trainset. The instructions were clear, assembly and disassembly were both easy, and everything worked beautifully. It is a pleasure to work with such well designed and built things.

Tough, practical, easy to put together and get running.

The Kato n gauge track system is great - see the title of this review! I use it for Austrian narrow gauge HOe, and the large radius curves/points are so much better than the tighter curves usually associated with narrow gauge track. I have many other pieces of track in addition to this set and would recommend it to any n or HOe modeller.

High quality product.

Absolutely delighted with this product. Beautifully made and presented. Bought primarily to make a narrow gauge layout to go with my HO setup. Only drawback was, advertised at £129 with free delivery but as a Japanese import I then received a bill for £22 import duty from FedEx. So not the bargain I thought but nevertheless good value for money.

Very good product

I bought the Kato Unitrack with no real knowledge of the different track types. I got very lucky as its excellent track. The points are excellent too. Very easy to wire up and get working.
