Heats evenly and cooks spectacularly. I love these pans. Also clean up easily.

Good pot, handles get hot

Great pot, same with the rest of the brand’s cookware. Perfect medium/large size to bridge gaps where you don’t need something huge. Handles do get extremely hot though, and can’t be held with bare hands during use like the normal KitchenAid saucepan handles.

I like the smaller size however, the bottom sticks a little. Final comments; it is a little pricey; but it cleans well so all in all I am satisfied with this purchase.

Love KA but...

KA failed here. I received this pot as a gift for Christmas 2021, however, I did not use it until about a month ago. With the FIRST use, the pan became discolored. I purchased the same pan because I was thinking it may have been a fluke. Nope, the second pot did the same thing. I returned it. Of course, the one I received as a gift was outside of the return period so I am kinda stuck with it. The pan cooks fine, seemingly but the discoloration is troublesome. I've read that vinegar will help with the discoloration. Apparently, stainless steel has chromium in it which is the reason for the change of color. Tried that and it helps a little. It is not long lasting. Also, handles get and stay very hot.

Handle gets hot!

I love this pan but the design of the lid is terrible. The handle heats up quite hot and I burned my hand on it the first time I tried to remove it. Now I keep a potholder on it. For as expensive as this pan is, I would think they would insulate the handle on the lid.

4 quart Stainless casserole pot

I love this pan. I got it a couple of days ago and have used it twice already. I wanted something that I could use on my induction cooktop with higher sides than a fry pan that would actually brown meats. Not a fan of grey meat cooked in a non stick frypan that you can only use on medium heat. This one fits the bill. I like the option of being able to use it in my oven as well. The unit is well made. The glass lid fits perfectly. And best of all the handles are cool to the touch when you are using it on the cooktop! I hate long handles when cooking multiple items on my cooktop. I have no issues cleaning it even though it is not a non stick pan. My last set was a stainless Paderno and I had no issues keeping the set sparkling. This brand is no different. The only downfall is that this is only a 4 quart. Wish it was bigger but knew what I was buying so not really a fault. I am going to start look for a second one that is larger. Great value and a well made pan that I know I am going to use again and again!

Thin bottom

I like it but it has think bottom which doesnt alow you to cook food on high heat and casserole become hot very fast. Overall good !
