template problems

The towel bar itself is very nice - i ordered it because it was the lowest profile i could find (doesn't stick out as far from wall as most others). We used the template and somehow ended up off center top to bottom (side to side was fine.) Just be aware. The first one we hung was lower than center, the second higher. We've done plenty of installs of these types of things, never had that trouble before. No one will notice except us, but it's a little frustrating.

Ordered this “new” not “like new” and the product I received had clearly been opened and resealed.

Brushed nickel finish is perfect

We bought a place that had all brushed nickel faucets and shower hardware, except the towel bars, even though it was a new building. So we replaced shiny ones for these Kohler towel bars and they look great. We found them well-made, they included all the options you might need to install them on a wall that is hollow or one into studs. Impressive bracket to attach to wall also.

Real quality

There were numerous other choices that were a LOT cheaper but I read the reviews and wasn't surprised but what people said (easily bends -- not sturdy, crooked when arrived, rusts and pitts after a while, falls off wall, etc.) and I knew I wouldn't have to worry about any of that if I bought a Kohler towel bar. It's beautiful and simple and elegant. Can't go wrong.
