for the price point, not that bad as some say
Yes its casting is rough, but I bought it strictly for pizza and I seasoned it, I stuck it in the oven with coconut oil @ 325 for 90 min, then shut it off and let it stay in the oven several hours to completely cool. Next day made Pizza with it and it worked flawlessly. I can see it being tuff to clean with the wrong tools if not seasoned properly . But nothing stuck on mine. I think because it was pizza and i also greased the pan and the seasoning most likely helped as well. If not seasoned correctly, just use the Stainless Steel scrubbie to clean it . For the 17$'s and some change I dont think you'll find one with out the rough casting. Wire wheel or some heavy grit paper can take it down to a smoother surface if needed and I know its not something you should have to do but again price point.... it is what it is and if you need a smoother surface one should spend the extra $$ and have at it !! Otherwise try seasoning it with that method and see what yur results are. .I would say after yu season it and your going to be using this for more than pizza , cook a LB of bacon in it to continue to season the pan. Careful about thermal shock with high heat and then adding some cold items like steaks etc, , you may crack it , I would say put the item you choose to cook on with the pan and heat it up then. YMMV

Good for price
The pan is supposed to be seasoned, but the finish is rough. I used a fine sanding disc to smooth inside and outer rough surfaces. I re seasoned with veg oil. I used it for pizza on the grill, and for tortillas. Works good after a little love.

Amazing!
This is a lifetime Pizza Pan... got it for a great price and I love it. No seasoning really needed, just a little spray oil. When we make pizza with this type of cast iron pan we always preheat unlike if we're using a tin pan. We make a lot of pizza and this is what we've discovered works the best with the non cast iron type that don't last very long.

Great multipurpose pan on the cheap!
If you are looking for one pan to cook your pizzas, grill your chiles, or grill some meat out camping. This is it. Great value for the price. I seasoned mine before I used it and it is working very nice.

I originally purchased this pan to cook pizza. I also utilize it to cook homemade biscuits on occasion. Note: plan is a little rough, nothing that seasoning the pan won't cure. Enjoy!

Rough surface
This is well made but the cooking surface isn’t smooth and flat. For burgers it can be an effort to clean after. I’d suggest buying one that is smooth, though this one is a good price

Pleasantly surprised.
I got this primarily for pizzas, so I haven't tried it for anything else ... yet. It gets hot, very hot, but that's kinda the point. It IS heavy. It's cast iron, so you shouldn't be surprised. It's quite flat, so you can't get a proper grip of both handles, but enough to pull it partially out of the oven, grab one handle, then the other - with oven gloves, obvs. The cooking surface is quite rough, so cleaning is much easier if you use something like a nailbrush. So how does it work for pizzas? At last, fully cooked, crispy bases! It works great with fresh, frozen and home made. I haven't tried using it as a skillet on the hob/BBQ yet, but that is now on my to-do list, If you're tired of soggy pizza bases, then you should give this a try!

This is beautiful cast iron!
I was immediately impressed by the casting and finishing on this pan. It's flawless. I bought it to make pizza and gave it some extra seasoning before using. It is a large-sized pan which could have other uses on the stovetop or the oven. I guess I should mention, because I know some people care, it does not have a super-smooth glass-like surface. It has the surface I typically expect of new cast iron, which will work extremely well and will tend to acquire a smoother finish over time with seasoning and use. Overall I think this company has put out a great product! I would recommend to anyone who likes pizza baked on cast iron.

Great pan
The media could not be loaded. Very versatile pan. Cooked steak fajita but also going to do a deep pan pizza on this on the BBQ. Good quality cast iron and a dream to clean. Just follow the instructions that comes with it. Highly recommend

Amazing product!
Love this pan, I bought a second one! I recommend you preseason it again when you receive it. Follow the cast iron care instructions and you’ll have this beautiful pan for generations to come! You can wash in soap and water but dry it right after and oil it again. If you scrub off the coating simply season it again with oil and bake it on. Cast lasts a lifetime with proper care. If it rusts from improper care, simply wash and scrub it, oil it good inside and out and bake it in oven. Enjoy!
