A smaller stretch band.

I just barely made it (the tail) work but I'm a 240 pound woman so anyone smaller then that it's a lovely costume, wonderful and will fit you great but like I said for me I barely got lucky. I been thinking if there's some way I can ghetto rig it to stay on me but make more room to fit around my belly .. but overall is costume if great tbh and hats great

Perfect for Pokémon fan!

Perfect kid’s costume. My kid was set on being Charmander, but I didn’t want him wearing a full body romper to school, because he would for sure pee his pants. Also, face masks weren’t allowed at school. Because we also had to buy an orange tee and shorts, as well as an oval shaped (color: buttercream) felt from Etsy, the total cost was more than the other type of Charmander costume, but this is much more practical and comfortable. The hat is a little big for my 7 y/o which is fine, because if it was tight it would probably be hot and/or uncomfortable for my particular kid. We had to size the band for the tail as small as it could go (comparable to a boys size 7). The tail is inflatable and sits in place very nicely. My kid is able to put on and take off the tail by him self. This isn’t a complete costume right out of the bag, but I still highly recommend it. The quality is excellent.
