my wife would not use an antique book case because it had no keyhole for the key .... it wasn't until I asked her what she was talking about that she told me that just a wood hole with out a metal plate around it was except able ... looking around amazon I found them and when then arrived I asked her just what one would she want ... heaven forbid if I put on the wrong one ... Key hole for a fairy door

We used one as a keyhole for our Granddaughter's fairy door. (Mailbox dug into the hill out back and when she sees a feather, she gets a gift from the fairies!) SHE LOVES IT and the keyhole helps the illusion.

Five metal keyholes in multiple finishes are a nice addition to ones craft supply repertoire. Not too heavy, they do resemble the genuine deal. I love them for embellishing a greeting card as well as the greeting card storage boxes I create. Fun.
