Seems high quality but read the fine print

I bought a few pieces of Doughmakers Aluminum cookware. Arrived yesterday and appear quality made and I like supporting a small company. That said, a few things bear mentioning: - The glue holding down the label is beyond stupid difficult to remove. Who made decision to use semi-permanent glue when other options are easily available. I ended up using a plastic razor blade scraper and Goof Off solvent plus many clean paper towels to remove all residue. Frustrating waste of time. Disclaimers on back of label: - Do not use above 428 degrees-- so no broiling. - Do not use non-stick sprays. Leaves permanent brown stain residue. Solid shortening OK and probably butter OK. - No dishwasher. Hand wash. Risk of aluminum oxidizing over time I assume. -No acidic foods (tomato, citrus, etc). Reacts with aluminum. None of these are deal killers for me but be aware of limitations. Most products today come with labels and warnings written by attorneys to disclaim all imaginable liabilities. I look forward to using these baking products a long time despite these limitations of aluminum cookware. Tired of heavy, rusting steel baking sheets and pans. We'll see how they perform over time.

Use parchment paper for jelly roll

I bought it for a home version of the Great British Baking Show where we all did jelly rolls. I did a pumpkin version on mine and reread the info about not spraying or needing parchment paper. WRONG!!! It definitely needs parchment paper. My “roll” ended up becoming a 3-later cake vs being able to get out off and roll it. Otherwise I love that it didn’t warp, was ready to clean, and did what I bought it for. This was the first time I used it.

These are great for baking. Great clean up. Just keep them away from the husband who likes to barbeque and not rinse off when done. Eventually like any other pan you will be scrubbing and they will look like they went through a war zone. :)

È un ottimo prodotto. Non serve ungere ed i cibi si staccano facilmente comunque. Io la uso per farci la fainata alla ligure che di solito naviga nell'olio durante la cottura. Ho impiegato un pò x averla perchè nin avevo capito che sarebbe arrivata dagli USA.

Wouldn't buy it again

Even with using parchment paper, I need to scrub it to clean it after use, probably it's due to the structure of its surface. Now it turned a bit yellow in the left side after one month approximately of using it few times a week. Can't imagine what the outcome would be without parchment paper.

I bought this specifically to make a toll cake and it worked perfect.
