THIS IS MY SECOND ORDER FROM THESE GOOD PEOPLE. Wonderful, mostly simple products...

...that do what they're supposed to do. Most if not all of their items come pre-assembled which is a blessing to me because following written instructions when it comes to product assembly is not something I have the patience for. You'd be correct in assuming I would never set foot in IKEA. Now, back to our story. This 3-divider container is perfect for me for storing quart zip lock bags, gallon sip log bags and a roll of produce type bags. Whether it's my ADHD or just my preference, for items like this I rarely keep them in the same container or box from which they originated. And for someone like me who sometimes struggles or organization, Mind Reader products have answered my prayers. Thanks Mind Reader, for coming through again.

The media could not be loaded. This basket organizer is imported by the wholesale distributor EMS Mind Reader company (NJ), which sells it to retailers under its brand name Mind Reader. This company has been selling in the Amazon US marketplace since 2017. ORIGIN The item does not have a manufacture origin tag, but it is identical to the Mesh Sliding Organizer 17004-1 of the Hangzhou Honor Industry Co. of China. SPECS It is made of grey powder-coated iron mesh and welded rods, and consists of a rectangular mesh basket that can be lifted or slid off like a drawer from from the wire frame holding it. It has plastic cups on the feet and ball tops on the frame legs. As in other critical reviews, I found that the dimensions displayed in this product page, 15.5 x 9.38 x 5.44", are incorrect (as well as unclear to what part they refer to, basket or frame), and the same applies to dimensions given in the Q&A section by supposedly the "manufacturer," though they are from the wholesaler. This may be due to manufacturing variability or improper measurements, or both. In the organizer I received, the FRAME is 15.38" (L), 9.5" (W), and 5.75" (H at the posts), while the BASKET is 14.75" (L), 8.34" (W), and 4.13" (H). The width of the three basket compartments, whose length is the width of the basket itself, is --from the right to the left of the top figure of this webpage-- 4.81", 4.81", and 4.78". PERFORMANCE The product I received has a variety of defects that are illustrated in my attached figures and described below. 1. Some defects are only aesthetic and do not affect the product's performance, such as different heights of the two dividing panels forming the walls for the three compartments (Figs. A and B), or the misaligned welding of some rods (Fig. C). 2. Other defects are perhaps more serious, like the brownish patches in the four grey ball tops of all the frame's legs (Fig. D) suggesting an improper handling of these plastic tops, which may result in a shorter than expected life, besides being dirty looking and ugly. 3. The most serious defect, however, are the sharp, badly cut ends of some of the rods of the wire frame of the product I got (Figs. E and F, red circles), one of which was sharp enough to CUT THE FINGERTIP of one of my children when she repositioned the frame after moving it. 4. Though the frame holds the basket securely as long as the frame is placed on a leveled horizontal surface, the stability it provides to the basket is ridiculously deficient. This is demonstrated in my attached short video of the empty basket being lightly touched with a pencil. Rather than go through the hassle of returning this SLOPPY piece of work, I simply filed the sharp ends and applied matching color paint to use it for storing small tool items in the garage. RATING What I received was carelessly built with nearly inexistent quality control. I ignore if this inferior product represents an occasional production fault or the usual output of the manufacturer, but metal edges sharp enough to cut skin are UNACCEPTABLE in a commercial product not made for such purpose. It gets one star only because Amazon does not allow zero star ratings.

Nice for tall and wider bottles

Nice, but I wish it had a second shelf like the others I purchased. It holds a lot but there's also a lot of space above it that could have been used. I'll continue to use it for tall bottles.

Not at all sturdy. Arrived damaged.

I gave this 3 stars mainly because if the welds had been done correctly then this would have worked perfectly. As you can see in the photos I was still able to use the organizer somewhat just not the actual frame/holder. The product arrive damaged which was not the fault of the shipping. You can clearly see that the “welding” was only done on the far outer portion which caused this to be very flimsy. The package itself came in with plenty of bubble wrap. All in all I can still use the product and it was fairly cheap, however I wouldn’t order it again. I could of easily gone to Home Goods or Marshall’s and gotten something much more sturdy for the same price.

Useful little cabinet-dweller!

We bought one of these, then 2 more! It glides smoothly, looks nice and doesn't require any installation. The compartments are nice for keeping things neat & supporting taller items like spray bottles or cleanser cans under the sink. One shipment (at Christmastime) was not protected at all and arrived with a busted guide rail, so it was a bit more trouble to ship it back, but a new one was sent out immediately. In one bathroom, we stacked this on top of Mind Reader's other, fully-enclosed drawer (also great). They make us feel we are making great use of the space, but measure your cabinet first, as one of our cabinets had a slightly less wide opening & the door hinge was mounted inside, blocking the drawer.
