Using a a Toe Tester

This is the second one of these I have purchased. I use them in a shower where there is a toe tested, to check the water temperature before diverting the water to the shower head. Looks great, and you really don't see the fitting on the bottom, since it is about 6" from the floor.

Basic and functional

This piece of plumbing always makes me wonder why it is so expensive, and why it is sold separate than the shower slide bar kit. Just another expense for manufacturers because obviously, the slider handheld shower does not work without this little piece. It is overpriced and by significant amount. I don't think anyone looks at a new shower install and notices this little thing to have the price be so high. It's function works.
