Installs Easy/Low Noise/Chops as Expected.

Does as expected. Easy to install. Uses outlet instead of hardwire, or you can hardware. Like the fact plug is included. Chops very well with low noise. Would buy again.

No need for light switch.

If you don’t have a disposal and don’t want to pay to have a light switch put it the batch feed works for you. This is very powerful and relatively quiet. I’m very pleased so far.

Took a Chance and Glad I Did!

I’ve had an Insinkerator disposal in our kitchen sinks for decades. Only had to replace it twice. When it broke this year I decided to try a Moen unit I saw advertised. There was some cost savings and I would get a higher horsepower. I had it installed by a professional plumber and it went in quickly and easily. This was a batch feed unit which we felt safer with than a unit with an open drain. The grinding function was great…fast and pretty quiet. But it bothered me that when I had the stopper in place with the opening that let it drain, the water didn’t drain quickly or properly. I assumed that was the way it worked and I started wondering if I should have stayed with Insinkerator. I took a chance and called the Moen customer service line. I told them my concern and the company rep said that doesn’t sound right and he said he would rush me out a new batch feed stopper. It came today…. I put it in place and bingo! It worked great… the water flowed through. There is also an opening if you want to fill the sink and two opening that line up for grinding. The mark of a good company is taking care of a customer’s problem and solving it. Moen did it quickly and scored big on customer experience and satisfaction. Good product, great service, good company!

Easy Install and Quiet

I had the handyman come out and install this product, with no problem. We have been using it for about 6 months with no issues, and it’s quiet when in use. I am Happy with this product and would recommend it.

Surprised by the safety feature

Just installed this unit. Was easy enough to do, since I simply reused the In-Sinkerator fitting on the sink. But I found it odd, the safety feature that prevents it running unless this piece is inserted in the drain. Mind you, it is fine. Just big and ...odd

We do like to confuse guests as to how to use it. Maybe a more visible arrow on the stopper and on the rim, showing proper alignment?

Great disposal at an affordable cost

Bought this disposal to replace one that began to malfunction. Since there was not the opportunity to put in an on/off switch on a wall, we elected to go again with a batch feed. It doesn't bother me to have this rather than continuous, to be honest, I find it's safer - especially with younger kids around. The install went very well and smooth. Just be forewarned that the unit is heavy. Albeit not as heavy as the dinosaur that I had just taken out. It works well and we are getting used to the new trigger for it. The only thing that is a downside is that it is slightly noisier, but not so much that it turns us away. In all, a great unit and I would install another one should the need arise!

Love it

I had to replace a fairly new high end Insinkerator because I changed my sink and the unit I had wouldn’t fit. I found this and bought it mostly because it was shorter but this unit is far better than the one it replaced. I prefer the batch type garburator to avoid having a switch. I can’t recommend this unit any higher. Works like a charm.
