It's so sime a two year old couldn't do it...

Two year old learned how to unlock a gate. So this bad boy helped us get the upper hand again now she is safe from unlocking the gate.

Overall, it's a great product at a great price. It did however start fraying after a few months and the clasp does detach from the latch pretty often but at this price point ($5) I'm satisfied.

Too short for my lock

The clip wouldn’t attach to the latch (too narrow) so I looped the cable through it to form a loop. Great except the cable is too short.

Happy with my purchase

This seems to be made well enough to me. It is a little short. It managed to reach my latch, but just barely. As a side note, I saw this in Home Depot a week after I ordered it. I couldn't tell if it was the same length. It was $2 less at the store but having it delivered and not using gas still made it a good online purchase.

Very nice gate latch cable pull.

It works very well although, because of its thinness, may wear the hole through the wood. Wish it had some sturdy plastic covering.

Get the job done

The cable does what it is designed for. We only need something basic to pull the gate latch open from the other side of the fence. It works well for a 4x4 post.

100% Useless

The wire's too short to thread through a 6" x 6" post and still have enough leftover to connect to the hardware. If the manufacturer had the wisdom to add, oh, another 3" of wire, it would work. But that would have cost another fraction of a cent so I can understand why. Not to mention the fact that this will rust through in no time given the absence of a protective sleeve. Garbage.

Exactly what I had been looking for! I've tried string, twine, everything ended up breaking, and weathered quickly. This will hopefully last a while on my back gate.
