Ok but sometimes tear.

These bags generally stand up well for their purpose, can hold large loads etc., but in some batches I've noticed serrations at the top of the bags (where they open) that cause them to tear down the side unless they're unfolded very carefully. Otherwise great, and this only affects a few bags in each batch, but worth noting.

Poop bags that you can feel good about!

These large bags are fantastic. I use them for my homemade dog food. I make my German Shepherd homemade dog food in the crockpot, and then scoop out 1 cup and put them in these bags that can be frozen or left in the fridge. And they’re compostable. Plus they’re great for poop too.

They rip because they’re compostable

I read a lot of these reviews and while I understand everyone’s frustration that they rip easily(they’ve ripped on me), I wanted to write my own to explain why they rip easily. They’re made of COMPOSTABLE material, meaning when interacted with water, moisture, or friction, they are going to break apart. That is the point of compostable. Plastic wrap isn’t going to be compostable, but a paper towel can be - which is sturdier? Plastic, but you’re gentle with paper towels. You have to be gentle with these. I love that I can be more environmentally friendly when picking up after my animals, which is why I will continue to buy these. Please instead of hating on them bc they rip easily, take the time to be more careful and environmentally conscious.

These are the best poop bags

I've been using these poop bags for a year and they are amazing! They are easy to tear which is important when you quickly have to clean up in NYC. They are light weight and very easy to open. I have tried other bags but always come back to these. I can't emphasis enough how terrific they are.

Won’t buy again

I bought these when I couldn’t get what I do normally. I’m sure these are good for the environment, but that are very flimsy and I don’t like it. They are really too small to be used for cleaning the cat box…what I use them for. The scooper is too big for them. I nearly spilled a mess on the floor. I won’t purchase these again.

Like the way the bag feels but rips easily

I like how these bags feel, it almost has a satin-like feel to them, but they rip easily. I like these bags, but I can find better poop bags for a better price that’s more durable.

Wanted these to work, but they are so fragile

The bags were nice, but every other bag had a tear or gaping hole in it. They were extremely fragile dropping poops that were already bagged. Be very careful when picking up poop. We had to cancel our subscription. Inspect each bag carefully before attempting to pickup any poop. Wishing they were more durable.

Used to be my favorite bags

I like a lot of things about these bags. They are compostable, very easy to open and the right size for my dogs. However, the most recent purchase of them turned out to have the problem people were complaining about. They have become much thinner and can easily rip when trying to separate them. What a shame! I really liked them before but now I won't buy them again until they become as strong as they were originally.
