Mostly ends splatters…

I bought this to protect my new stovetop from splatters and hopefully to save cleanup time and effort. It mostly lives up to expectations but I was hoping to block more. I do like the folding handle for storage.

CURBS SPLATTERS

This splatter screen works fairly well. It fits the frying pans as stated, and is pretty sturdy. The fold-down handle is a great feature. I used it when frying bacon in a large frying pan and I did notice tiny little splatters on the stove, but that could have been because I raised the screen to turn the bacon. If you do something like that, I would suggest raising the screen only part-way and "sneaking" the tongs or spatula under the screen to turn the food and then lowering the screen back down onto the pan. It did splatter much, much less than the mesh-type screens. As far as easy to clean goes, as soon as I removed it from the frying pan, I stood it up in the lower rack of the dishwasher, handle extended, and it came out beautifully. I didn't even rinse it first. Overall, it's a keeper and I would recommend it.

WORKS GREAT!

If you still have an old school splatter screen, it's time to upgrade. Very easy to clean also and does not rust like the rim of the screen ones.

Larger than others I have used

This is sturdy. I bought it because the handle folded up. It is very large. It covers even my very large frying pans. It is cleans up okay but sometimes food splatters require scrubbing and a lot of water spraying to get it off. I would buy again.

This is the best splatter guard I've used by far, not only is it sturdy it is very easy to clean. I would highly recommend this product. A great buy

Forget the others

Saves cleanup

I used to have to clean the stove and adjacent areas constantly. This spatter shield has made cleanup tons easier by minimizing the mess that comes from browning food on the stovetop. It's also user friendly and very easy to clean.

Works great

Saw a couple of complaints, it’s too big and it doesn’t vent very well. I disagree with both these comments. The just over 13 inch so is ideal for a medium sized wok and steam escapes with no issues.

The best splatter screen I have ever used.

You get what you pay for. In the past, I purchased cheaper splatter screens only to regret it later. These cheap screens broke down and started to rust out really quickly. This OXO Splatter Screen is sturdy and really well built. It takes care of business and is easy to clean. I have purchased other OXO products and was always impressed with their quality and price point. I highly recommend this product!

Brilliant size with foldable handle for easy storage! Great product!!

This wonderful invention arrived today so I haven’t had a chance to use it yet but can’t wait! It’s a great size and the added feature of the foldable handle makes it easier to store flat without taking up too much space. Well done OXO! You impress once again!
