I like it, but there’s an exposed screw

I love OXO and rely on them often for quality products. I appreciate the sad beige esthetic of this spout cover and the security it provides from littles hurting themselves in the tub. I gave this product four stars because there appears to be an exposed metal screw piece that was “waterproofed” with a dab of clear adhesive (feels like an afterthought). I’m wondering why this wasn’t addressed better in the design and will continue to monitor to ensure that it remains safe and rust-free.

Minimalist design, maximum protection

I am thrilled to have this extra layer of protection for bath time! It installed in seconds and cushions the hard edges of our spout. I really like that it doesn’t have any sort of character face because that actually would attract my child more and make her want to check it out. This is the cover to get!

I like how the design is plain & simple. I've had it for a couple months now & it doesn't grow any mold or anything on it, which is fantastic! Easy to install as well!

The only one that fits our larger bathtub spout!

We've tried 2 other bathtub spouts and they don't fit our bathtub spout! This one is the only one that actually fits, and has a large cutout on top for the shower lever pull. The clip design is ingenious and helps it stay put super well. Would recommend this to anyone, it'll fit pretty much any spout!

Works, but slips down on our tub spout.

This does the job of protecting toddler grandson's head. However, the fastening mechanism may need an additional fastener to hold in place. Advice: Measure your tub spout to ensure that it will stay on your tub spout without additional straps to secure. (The single silicone strap only fits UNDER the spout and isn't the most secure - it needs two straps for our tub spout. We added a velcro strap so it can still be removed to allow for thorough cleaning.)

Peace of mind for toddler baths

Fits snug and adds an important protection. Much better looking than a whale or something toy like, our daughter leaves this alone and it works wonderfully.

It wiggles a bit

It wiggles a bit and you have yo press to install it. Other than that, works fine. I guess this is the only one with no sharp edges and it's kind of cushioned.

Nice and soft

The media could not be loaded. This spout cover works well enough. Its made of a soft, sponge material. It’s easy to install. It’s kept my grand daughter from hitting her head on the hard metal bathtub faucet which is the reason I got this, so it does serve its purpose. My only complaint would be that it does slip off and require adjustment every now and then otherwise water sprays everywhere which is shown in the video, but it’s an easy, quick fix!
