Perfect for checking done-ness of cakes and breads

I like two things about these "sandwich picks." First, they are long enough to keep my fingers safe when I'm testing the done-ness of cakes and breads. Second, they can be thrown in the compost (city-collected, not home-based) when I'm done with them so that they do not go to waste. I do wish they came in a paperboard box, though, so that they weren't still in a plastic bag (recyclable?) or put in an old spice jar to keep on hand.

Large sticks

I lost a box similar to these and I was crossing my fingers this brand was the same and they were. They are not sharp pointed, rounded as I had hoped and larger in size compared to all those other sandwich sticks. It seems to me borderline to not being sandwich sticks, seems more like craft type sticks, but not like those large tongue depressors that I call them. I am so glad these were what I was looking for. Nice quality and quantity.
