Better than nothing

It didn’t work for what I needed, but I suspect it *may* come in handy for something down the road. My main complaints are the magnet is weak (like a cheap fridge magnet), and the light is very small and dim. The idea was great; execution, not so much.

Buyer beware - It broke the first time I used it.

Please keep in mind that this review was given after my first use of this tool. I depressed the plunger part to extend the claw. The claw extended but did not retract. The plunger failed to raise back up. I tried applying gentle pressure to pull the plunger back up in an attempt to retract the claw and the plunger head pulled off the unit. Sturdiness - I'd give it no stars but 1 star was my only option. Value for money - All money vs. no use is a very poor value. Easy to use - No starts given for ease of use as I never got that far.

Love the light at the end of the device. It helps you to see down the clogged drain so you can pick out smaller bits of the clog.

light doesn’t work which is why I picked this one

I must have be sold an old one. The unit otherwise works. If you dropped something valuable in your RV toilet and bought this light hoping to be able to retrieve it, and you finally got to pick it up and the light didn’t work, would you be giving it a good rating?

ordered twice, both arrived broken with manufacturing defects

Right out of packaging the item was broken. Amazon sent a replacement immediately. Replacement was broken in the same way. There is a steel cable that runs the length of the claw. The cable is supposed to be crimped into the portion of the tool that you press with your thumb along with a wire for the light. However, when the item was manured the cable was not crimped into the thumb piece. Ive had 2 of these sent to me now and both arrived the exact same way.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY

I opened the package and the handle fell on the floor. I then contacted the manufacturer and never heard back. If I could give zero stars or negative stars I would.
