Good Suction for the Price

Within the price point of this unit, this by far outperforms the competition. For car detailing this will get the job done. The few things that are frustrating all come down to cord management and tool storage. The unit has no real proper way to roll up the cord or store the extra tools in a way that is convenient. Other than that this has the suction, is lightweight and offered at a great price. I am happy with my purchase. I use this unit a lot and it is still going strong.

Dalek in training has huge shoes to fill

So far I didn’t like the delivery- my very loud doorbell never rang It will be put to the test- my renovation just killed a 10 year old industrial vacuum that survived factory duty, severe home service, at least two hose assemblies- and resembles the longest-running Brit sci-fi robot villain in history. It exterminated dirt, and looked menacing in dark corners… This porter cable model appears to share accessories with Stanley vacuums but has a slightly better paint job. As soon as the doc clears… there will be sawdust, dirt, Sheetrock dust, and goop from greasy kitchen tile grout and more to exterrmennate! Ratings will be determined by performances. Stand By. First observation: both the hose and the cord are on the short side. The cord is only a two conductor non-grounded but polarized. The hose is 1.25” with a 2” adapter to the intake, which means two things- 1, you can use a 2” hose with this small vac (awkward) ; 2, my supply of similarly sized bags won’t fit. On the plus side larger chunks of debris are less inclined to get stuck, and l may be able to adapt my much longer hose. Second observation: noise wasn’t that much less than the Dalek and the suction seems similar. Cat litter and hairballs disappear promptly. No wet jobs yet.

This vacuum sucks!

This was a gift for my daughter when she purchased her first home. She says it really sucks, isn't as loud as the one we have, and she loves the stainless as it elevates it over the plastic ones.

Best for the money, part 2

Great price, good quality, works just fine. Plus pretty quiet. Not 'heavy duty', but it will do the job around the house: sawdust, gypsum dust, etc. I'm happy with this purchase. Arrived in perfect condition. If you plan to use it often, you might as well order the extra dust bags, usually suggested as you go though the buying process. Correction: Oups! One week later, after light usage, the 'On-Off' switch does not work. I just returned the whole thing today, and just hours later I had a email confirmation from AMAZON that the refund is accepted, and will be paid in the next 2-3 days. Now that's a 5 stars service!

Muy potente

Compramos esta aspiradora para la casa, es mas potente de lo que aparenta. No tiene problema en lidiar con solidos, liquidos y los pelos de mascota que se quedan aotrados en las cortinas. La tina es de acero inoxidable al parecer asi que no espero tener problemas de oxidacion o batallar para lavarla. Recomendada
