Way out of spec. Nine out of twisted off due to galling.

Nearly all of these 1/4 x 20 x 1" machine bolts seized, galled, and then broke. Yeah, two bags of them. 20 total. To find out what was happening, I 1/4 x 20 tapped the nylock nuts. No problem. Then I put a 1/4 x 20 die on the bolt threads and took off a significant amount of material. These are hands down out of spec, PERIOD. Junk. Thanks China. I mean how do you screw this up? (pun intended) So I guess I'm the only one this happened to? I no longer trust the amzn review system.

Works great on a Sea-Doo and other boats

Use this to replace seized and snapped bolts on a Sea-Doo engine carb. Retapped the metric to this standard.
