The lock switch falls apart too easily. Key metal is weak. Poor design.

I was able to finally install this piece of junk. The design is terrible. The lock switch falls apart and is difficult to put back together and then it just falls apart again. They need to change the design to keep the lock switch coming apart as one is trying to size the metal pieces. Then there are these metal pieces, which you have to snap off to size them into the lock from the lock switch and the external key lock mechanism. Oh joy, you need a pair of hefty pliers to snap them to size. If you pick the wrong size, you break the lock switch. Hours of fun trying to get this to install. Then, there was the mishap. I finally got it all working and I accidentally open up the screen door and the key was still in the lock mechanism. The sliding door snapped the key into two. One piece remaining in the lock. The strength of the metal the key is made out of is a joke. If I had not needed to secure the door, i would have returned this garbage immediately. This handle wont last. I'm absolutely expecting it to fail soon.
