Excellent Water Pick, but you can't buy replacement tips!

This water pick is excellent and can mount on a wall if you prefer, which is very convenient for some users. I purchased three of them to keep in each of my bathrooms and they have lasted a long time. My ONLY complaint is that the manufacturer does not offer replacement tips for sale. It is nothing short of arrogant to expect customers to buy a new water pick, whether they need one or not, when they run out of the picks that come with the original pick. They should simply list replacement picks on Amazon, like they do the water pick itself. If I can't easily get replacement picks, I simply won't buy another Pyle Health Water Pick again. This is a matter that Pyle Health should take seriously, as they are damaging their reputation with the appearance of opportunism!

Operator error

My previous review about the handle leaking after 7 months was operator error on my part. The spray nossle attachment was not seated all the way into the handle, therefore was leaking. The device is working fine and the company did contact me to replace it if needed. Appears to be a very good system and very good company support. Update 3/2021. This device is 26 months old now and has started to leak from the bottom. It did slightly around the 18 month mark, and since the warrantee is only 12 months, it was still workable with a slight leak. Looks like time for another one. I previously owned two water picks, which stopped working after about 16 months, so went with this model. I had used diluted mouth wash in the water picks, so could have been the issue.

I love this Water Flosser!!

I bought this one because my last one, the Waterpik WP100W began leaking. The hard plastic tubing had cracked. You can buy a replacement for the Waterpik WP100W for $18 on Amazon, but what I never liked about the Waterpik was that the end of it swivels. I could never tell if it had swiveled out of place, so I decided not to buy another Waterpik. The end of PyleHealth Water Flosser does not swivel which for me is great. The tubing for this flosser is more of a rubbery material which will not crack like the harder plastic one of my old Waterpik. It coils nicely back into the holder. I always had a problem with the old one. Someone said that water goes everywhere but I don’t find that to be a problem. It has an on/off switch on the handle. I love the large water reservoir. I can use it several times between uses. As far as power I use the 1 setting because I have many crowns. You have to be careful with crowns, because using it at too high a setting can dislodge them. I think it has plenty of power. Overall I love it!! It is the best water flosser I have ever had!

Well engineered unit. Mouthpieces sit vertically under lid, water container large and easy to refill, cable sits nicely wrapped in a spiral around handpiece, mouthpiece snaps firmly into handle.The two switch system: one to start motor and one on handpiece is different but prevents splashing mirrors. No 5 stars because unit is underpowered. On maximum, which on this unit is 4, it has the power equal to about 80% of my old "water pic". The power is totally adequate for cleaning teeth and perhaps more power will cause gums to bleed, but it is always nice to have some extra oomph to get out embedded food particles. I prefer this water flosser over the five water teeth flossers I have had over the years, especially for the price. All the other flossers performed satisfactorily, with all of them failing after an acceptable period of time - probably on average about five years. This flosser performs as well as the others, but its water reservoir is the most convenient to refill, and I like the spare nozzle storage and the reservoir cover design. I have had this flosser for only about one week with twice a day use, so am unable to comment on long term reliability. George C. Follow up with a four month report. This is still performing as new - no faults what so ever. All my likes are still valid. Whoever designed this flosser did an excellent job. George C.

On the good side it does not take up much space on ...

I think it would be ok for a child but for an adult there isn't enough pressure even on the high setting. I always run out of water before I'm done or I have to hurry to cover all the teeth before running out of water. Read where a water pick needs to reach least of 60 PSI to be able to remove plaque from your teeth, still looking for the spec to tell me what the PSI is on each setting. On the good side it does not take up much space on the counter.

water jet cleaner

This product seems to be well made. It works well so far. I haven't used it a lot yet but the little use I have made of it, it appears to do exactly what it is advertised to do. I would rather do this review after more prolonged use. It replaces a Braun irrigator, that worked well but just wore out. This unit is an improvement in that the pulsing is adjustable. I am happy with it.

Excellent pressure control and maneuverability

Excellent pressure control and maneuverability. Large tank insures good cleaning. The only issue is that the hose get's tangled to some extent. Will have to keep on top of it to prevent kinking.
