These are great

These are great for seniors or someone incapable of handling sandbags. They are light and easily maneuvered when placed. They swell when wet. Takes a while but provides a good dam. Very heavy when wet. They, eventually, will dry and shrink back down and can be used again.

Packaging Not As Pictured

Be aware that this bucket may not be the high-visibility orange as pictured. The one I received came in a white bucket with a note asking me to "please accept the temporary white substitute." Well, (1.) the change won't be "temporary" for me, since it would be going into permanent storage if I kept it, obviously, and (2.) I bought it packaged in high-visibility orange as pictured for a reason. I like this product, but it's going back.

Insurance against severe storms.

I use these during hurricanes of tropical storms to keep water from seeping under my patio screen door. I am inland in north central Florida. They keep water out, and are nice to have on hand if I need them. They are usually used only once, unless storms run together.

Great Flood Protection

I used these Quick Dam bags to divert a river of rain water that was flowing down the street on our hill. It kept my front yard from flooding. I like them because you just lay them on the ground, like sand bags, but they are light weight fabric. They absorb flood water and become heavy. The bucket holds 20 bags, which makes a good barrier.

This second one came un damaged. I've used this product before and it really helps in prevent minor flooding to porches or garage floors.

Used during hurricane Irma, worked especially well keeping out the rain from the door crack. Luckily the flooding didnt get too high. This is a must have for anyone living in flood prone areas to add to their arsenal.

Used this product many times before but it’s even better in this packaged deal. You can store away until you need. Its also great for soaking up plumbing leaks.
