good for observer, not really for shooter

i got a pair for me and my wife when we go shooting and when we started she said they work just as good as ear plugs. however when cocking my head to aim down the sights the recoil would make the rifle stock bump the cup off of my ear and i would hear the gunshot mostly unmuffled. had to switch back to ear plugs.

Decent for the price

I've used quieter earmuffs, and I've used more comfortable earmuffs, but these are certainly adequate in both respects. Worth the price.

Best noise reducer earmuffs

I bought these to use for drumming. Well they work great. You are still able to hear what going on around you but block out all the sounds of the loud drums. I would recommend to all drummers to use ear protection and this is a great product to do just that

Way Best Bang :) for the Buck!

Be sure to get the Red ones. The colors on the Radians Competitors mean something. In this case Red means softer rubbery ear cups. I have glasses with fairly thick metal ear pieces. These attenuate the sound about the same whether or not I have the glasses on. BTW, the Blue ones have vinyl ear cups - stiff and much colder in the winter.
