BETTER THAN I EXPECTED

I was hoping it would work at least one of my 2 old door openers and it works on BOTH! I am very pleased. The directions are a little difficult to follow but pay attention, follow the directions, it will work. Both doors controlled independently from the single unit. I am pleased.

Easy to install, good value

Follow the directions and installation was very easy. Challenge is sometimes the keys are not responsive so you have to press them a couple of times. Cold could have been a factor so will have to see when Spring comes.

Genie programming confusing

I have 2 garage doors , one a Genie and one a Chamberlain. Programming for the Chamberlain was super easy and I got it done in a couple of minutes. Programming for the Genie was not so easy. There were 4 different Genie ID codes on pages 5 and 9 of the manual. Two of them involved dip switches but nothing in the manual told where the dip switches were located and I could find no dip switches on the Genie opener. Two emails to support went unanswered for about two weeks, so I'm left with trying one ID code, then another until I get the unit to work. I'm rating this average due to the complete lack of response from Refoss support.

Works well synced well

Never keep a garage door opener in your car, unless you park in the garage. Found out the hard way when 2 kids got into my car, found the opener and opened my garage at 3am. Fortunately I was awake and scared them off. Never did find the remote they took. Keypad works fine for me!!

Works well with openers with learning button

Price was good I used this keypad on older chamberlain 635cb receiver. 390mhz. It can be used on all openers with learn buttons Programming wasn’t too bad. You just do the steps kinda blind as it doesn’t acknowledge each step of programming. It takes it though If you mess up setting code and want to reset to factory 0000 you stick a paper clip into reset hole on back 5 for 5 sec then press *and # simultananeously to accept the reset If you have a old genie with dip switches I would stay away as instructions were unclear as English translated from Chinese I presume. I’d recommend the clicker keypad for dip switch remotes

Works great - PURPLE learn button

Took all of 10 minutes to pair and mount. I have a purple learn button. The remote took less than 30 secs to pair and operate - on the 1st try. Please note the only difference between the OEM remote and this one is the door wont close when pressing the ENTER button. You must enter the 4 digit code to close the garage door. Since this unit was nearly 30 dollars less than the OEM, It's a no brainer. My OEM remote lasted about 6 years before it started to malfunction, crack and unpairing itself. Time will tell how long this unit will last. I will update if any issues occur.

The instructions SUCK but I made my own and it works and it is easy/ PAD DOES NOT LIGHT UP AT NIGHT

Follow the directions. Steps can be confusing bit follow them . When see the 1step that has 1234 that should be WHAT YOU WNAT FOR A PIN... all other things do what is says (reset). is in the back small hole , use a toothpick or safety pin. The depending on your system you will hit enter a few times or one time. Then at the bottom of the sheet you hit the colored button on you motor and type your code hit enter and it should blink. and you are DONE. it is so easy yet confusing in the begging . DONT GIVE UP

Works but with a few caveats

It works and responds fast as advertised, but not easy to set up if used for some older openers. Also, some buttons get stuck when pressed. However, it nevertheless meets my daily needs.

Great product

I installed this for a 2004 Craftsman garage door opener with an orange Learn button. It works perfectly. I really like the having the option of the slight beep when you press the keys. People tend to press less hard with this feature.

it is still not working the remote is very,hard to program!!!

the remote is still not working. I have and daughter and son who have tried with no luck. I have always looked to my children for computer "stuff"

Works well

Happy with purchase. Works just as well as my previous remote from Chamberlain. One small detail to know: you need to enter the code to open and close the door. My previous remote would close the door just by pressing the enter key without having to enter the code. It was more practical, albeit less secure.

Not easy

Not easy to program had to program a few times before it worked Does not explain well luck theirs YouTube .. Other Wise would of never worked
