I've been living in a home built in 1950. A few years ago I noticed that the washer was not draining the way it should have. I put in Green Gobbler, Drain Plumber, and many others, to no avail. One day the water backed up in the basement and I called a local Drain opener plumbing outfit to clear and allow the water to exit and go into the local city sewer system. The main line is 4 inches, but the plumber said he could only get a 2 inch cleaning end in because it was so plugged up and gave me his card and said "I'll give you a deal next time call me" this cost a couple of hundred dollars. This caused me to start researching on why it happened at all. Sure it was an older home, it still had the original pipes, but was this reason enough to have to pay Big Bucks?I went back to all the old pipe cleaning stuff-I saw that it was doing anything more than taking my money. After taking my money the line was not entirely clean - a 4 inch pipe that was only half way 2 inches of a possible 4 inches. I timed how it drained --put in 7 minutes of water and it took 9 minutes to drain -- Now after 1 1/2 years -- I put in 7 minutes of water and it takes less than 4 minutes to Drain completely out. If this is n't working - should I call that plumber back and charge me again hundreds so he can afford a vacation on my money? Not HARDLY FOLKS -- TRY RID-X and save your MONEY and SANITY -- YOU"LL BE GLAD YOU DID is all I can SAY.. i

Best for your Septic ystem

Every time I have my septic system serviced the technician's always comment on the good bacterial health of the system. I attribute this entirely to RID-X's quality and my consistent application.

Rave about Rid-X

I use this product every month because I have a septic tank that I certainly don't want to back up. It is easy to use in the toilet by pouring it in and flushing. Don't forget to not flush the toilet after you put it in for the night. I really believe in using this has helped to eliminate any problems.

Works on new septic systems too

We live in rural Nevada. We bought property and built a ranch compound including our house. Septic is the only system available out here. When we first moved in the smell from the system was horrible. We bought a couple of boxes of Ridex and used them. Now we use it once a month. No more unpleasant smells!

Mites in my bathroom

As temping as it is to buy a six pack , this product is not something you want laying around . One of my boxes came with mites , a google search leads me to believe it’s common , buy it, flush it but don’t put it under the counter and forget about it
