Not big enough fora 18 x 33 pool.

THICKER MESH, WORKS WELL

The media could not be loaded. Product seems well made. Grommets appear strong and reinforced. This is an upgraded version to the thinner mesh as it is quite a bit thicker. Located in Southern Ontario where we do get lots of snow we are using thid IN THE FALL ONLY to catch the fall leaves and then we will pull it off and leave the pool uncovered for the winter as we are in a very very strong wind path and the regular tarp like covers do not stay on for us. BACK STORY- This was not our first option however, our pool cover blew off twice last year and we did everything to keep it on resulting in the end in our big tarp like pool cover ripping and rendering it useless so we had to leave our pool uncovered for the winter and figure something out for this year. FAST FORWARD TO THIS SEASON- This year we were going to upgrade to the Extreme Eliminator however, our regular local pool supply store and the makers of the Eliminator couldn't guarantee it could withstand 100km direct winds should we have high winds like the storms we have had in the past. Given the $500 plus cost of that cover we opted to buy the leaf net to collect all of the fall leaves and then we will pull it off after the leaves have fallen leaving the pool exposed for the winter like we did last year by default since our pool cover flew off twice. So far it is doing great at collecting all of the leaves. Every so often we flip it out of the pool to drop the leaves and reattach it to our deck. It is working like a charm. I was hoping I could pull this cover super tight so it would lay flat across the pool like the very expensive above ground pool covers so the leaves would blow right off however, I'm not certain I could pull it that tight without it ripping. It does lay in the water a little bit which still collects all of the leaves and that is why we flip it every so often to dump the leaves so that the leaves don't have a chance to break down and leave particles in the pool. All in all, I would say this product serves its purpose for us and appears very well made. I would suggest this as an alternative option should you wish to go this route.
