Good fit for R16 helmets, color isn't a true matte

Went on very easy, screws lined up well. Perfect fit on a Junior R16 helmet. Style is everything for an almost teenager so he was initially concerned that it would be too bulky. Not an issue though, fits better than expected. Only con is the matte scarlet is still a bit shiny in comparison to his helmet. As mentioned in other reviews, the removable piece in the rear of the guard is not matte at all. Not a huge issue but not perfect either.

Awesome Jaw Guard But The Color Doesn’t Match!

My son is on an Academy Team and he gets new batting helmets yearly. Since he’s started playing baseball I’ve always invested in a jaw guard for his batting helmets to protect his face from any wild pitches. This jaw guard doesn’t disappoint. This jaw guard fits on easily and is well made. The inside MLB padding matches his helmet nicely. The only drawback is the Black Matte Color of his Rawlings R16 Batting helmet doesn’t match this Rawlings R16 jaw guard. The jaw guard is a shinier black instead of a matte black. Other than the shade of black being off this is a great addition to your baseball players Rawlings helmet.

Matte does not match matte black helmet.

The extension was easy to install and works great on my sons batting helmet, however the matte finish on the extension is different then the helmet.

Not matte green

It was the correct face guard, but it is gloss green and not matte green.

Color and fit are right

The color and fit are great for a Rawlings Velo. The back of the guard is glossy, but the main part is matte like the helmet. I added the sticker.

Recomendable, funciona con el modelo R16MS-MS

Es compatible con el modelo R16MS-MS aunque la altura NO es ajustable, al leer el instructivo dice que no cuenta con Certificado NOCSAE. Se adapta bien y cumple el proposito.
