Great Purchase

I love this recycling bin! I keep it next to my kitchen trash bin. It makes it so easy to recycle items in my house. When it’s full, I can easily dump the contents into the commercial recycling bin I keep in my garage.

Product stickers really stick!!!

What can you say about a plastic trash can? It’s fine. It holds trash. It’s the size I needed. BUT the large Rubbermaid product sticker, as well as other miscellaneous stickers on this trash can, are taking forever to remove! And I mean after using a ton of “Goo B Gone”! Whatever glue they used is absolutely awful. If it takes too much more time and effort to clean it up (nobody wants these tags on their stuff at home!) I’m going to throw it out. Bummer!

Slender and tall recycling bin. Good fit for saving space. Not too large and not too small.

Trash can

I was excited to purchase this recycling bin for our home. When I received it everything was fine. The only downside was that it does not have the recycling symbol on the bin. It’s just a plain old trash can without the symbol. So the first few days my kids kept throwing trash in there, which was annoying. I had to purchase a sticker to place on it. Other than that the bin does the job.

The can is fantastic, however, it did not come with the recycling symbol on it. I bought it specifically for that reason and was disappointed when it came in solid black. Otherwise, it’s a great can for garbage or recycling.

A good, basic recycling bin

We needed something in the house to collect the recyclables, yet all we could find locally were overpriced stainless steel bins costing $150 or more. Thankfully, I found this here on Amazon. The price was right, and it fits just where we need it to. The top is a bit flimsy, though, and the door does not always swing back to its proper place (closed) even when the bin is empty. For now, though, it works for what we need it to.

The unit works well but is limited by the swing top which requires you leave the top 1/4 empty or the lid does not close or open properly

No more stairs daily

We have a 2 story home. Every day we had to take the recycling cans, bottles, cardboard, etc. down 12 stairs daily to put in our individual recycling bins. Now we just wash out the items, put them in the rubbermaid spring top basket and when it fills up we take it downstairs. It saves many trips downstairs.
