Waterproof but not particularly warm.

I have Raynauds Syndrome and suffer terribly when the weather is cold. I also have very small hands so finding gloves that fit is a challenge. I need a pair of gloves that will keep my hands dry and warm and which are easy to get on and off in the cold. Sealskinz only make a few of their glove ranges in Women sizes. I chose the only waterproof ones I could find in a Womens small and they fit fine. The Sealskinz are definitely waterproof, I have been out in very heavy rain, and although they appear soaking wet my hands are dry. As long as I don't have to take them off for any reason then they will keep my hands if not warm, then not cold in reasonably cool weather. However when walking my dog the gloves are coming off and on regularly and once my hands are cold it's difficult to get my hands in to them and even if I can manage that my hands stay cold and start to hurt. I'm sure for most people these gloves would be ideal but if you struggle with cold hands then may be not. I will use these for warmer days in Spring and Autumn but am still on the hunt for gloves that will help keep my Raynauds at bay in winter.

Waterproof but not as warm as you might think

Bought these for the coldest months, hiking, running, cycling. They are great for being totally water and windproof so have used them in the snow and been very happy. But I didn't find them as warm as I'd hoped - if I'm hiking really hard or fell running then it's fine but if not my fingers still get cold. And, they are very difficult to pull on/off when slightly damp (from sweat!) due to the double layer. So, overall they are a good glove that seem very durable and good quality but not quite as amazing as I'd hoped!

Great for cold weather running and walking

They were just what I was looking for. Great fit..I bought small and have smallish but wide hands, theyre really comfy. Mostly worn for running so far, haven't tried them out in the hills yet but I think they will keep hands really warm and although I haven't tested them in heavy rain, they have kept my hands dry in lots of showers.
